Rosemary was a great waitress! We had a large group, 6 adults, 4 kids and a baby. The girls behind the counter worked hard getting our orders. Everything was right, fresh and delicious. Service was fast and so friendly! We really enjoyed our time there and Rosemary’s company.

I’ve been to dozens of Waffle Houses across the country and this one is a fine tuned machine.
I came on a Saturday around 10:30 am. The restaurant was full, but no wait. We got the last table. It quickly filled up, we placed our order and I sat back, drinking my coffee watching this amazing team overcome being suddenly slammed.
Not only were they slammed, my coffee cup never got less than half full. Our food came out fast and as usual, it was delicious. This is top notch service and this team should be rewarded.

This location must have recently lost all of their good people. I walked in. 2 tables were eating, one table was waiting for food, and one guy at the bar was waiting to order. In the industry, we call this a slow night. I sat at the only clean spot I could find in the restaurant. Two servers that made eye contact with me and talked about me amongst each other but didn’t make contact with me for more than 10 mins, told a man who walked in that it would be a 15 min wait, and proceeded to do nothing to clean up or prepare for the next turn of tables. They waited 12 mins before coming over and acting like they didn’t see me, took my drink order and came back with a 3/4 full glass of sweet tea. One woman took my order (bacon hashbrown bowl) and the other brought it. I asked her for silverware, she apologized and provided the silverware.
The bowl was wrong, it had really smelly sausage on it. I scraped the sausage off and told the server it was fine but I couldn’t eat the contents of the bowl. It was soggy potatoes with cold cheese. I got up and paid for my sweet tea, tipped $5, and went to Chick Fil A, where I felt wanted and like I wasn’t eating jail food.
The woman who took my order provided typical Waffle House entertainment, which I appreciate and it’s the only reason for the two stars. She very performatively announced to her coworkers and the customers that she is bipolar and will stab somebody. I’d say she’s pretty harmless, she talks the kind of tough someone talks when they’re raised by their grandparents and sheltered but it was entertaining nonetheless.

The prices have gone up significantly at Waffle House and the portion size, quality of food, and flavors have suffered tremendously. The allstar breakfast should have 2 eggs, unless they are using quail eggs, the portion looks like 1 large egg. The hash browns were burnt along with being completely flat – you could not taste the potatoes which were burned anyways.
I’ve worked at Waffle House in my younger days, and have eaten at Waffle House for over 20 years. There is definitely a decline in quality across the entire brand. I will say that the portion sizes in Atlanta and surrounding areas in Georgia provide larger portions.

Awesome waffle house, in and out quick due to the excellent and attentive service. Our server at the counter (a younger man, I forget his name) kept us well stocked and feeling welcome. Even with the surcharge the bacon egg and cheese bowls were delicious, both the hash brown and grit base. The whole staff was certainly working hard to keep pace with the orders and they did a stellar job.

I understand the Waffle House reputation and expect a certain amount of that when I choose to go there. I ate there last night at approximately 8:30 and it was absolutely ridiculous. Our waitress was sweet and was trying to handle things with no help from anyone else she said she had been working since 6:30 am. The male waiter that was supposed to be helping appeared to be on something and going in and out of the back door. Two other female employees one seemed to be dressed like a manager and who appeared to be on the clock but they did not wait on any tables in the approx hour and a half that we were there they were participating in a birthday party outside the back door where a waitress I recognize from there was not working and going in and out the back door filling up drinks, she had 2 kids running in and out being loud . It was a total fiasco and we felt really bad for the poor girl and the cook who were left to do it all. Again I know the Waffle House reputation, but do better. The only reason I ranked the service a 3 is because the poor girl couldn’t possibly take care of everyone.
