We eat Waffle House 4 or 5 times a week. Moved to Shelbyville. Got the feeling we will have to stop supporting Waffle House.
I work 2nd so usually do nights but have been trying days. Regardless of shift, I’m not impressed , at all. The bad outweighs the good. . Inconsistencies kill the experience. Order 2 double hashbrowns , get 1 double and 1 single. Gravy? May have it may not. May be like paste, May be like water. As in milk with bits of sausage.
Either cooked too crunchy or when I ask for n9t crunchy, their not fully cooked. One cook did cover them, which I’ve never seen in the 40-50+ Waffle House’s I’ve frequented over the years, but they where good.
Nights is fine Wed-Sat. It turns into, drive by and see who’s cooking. Then, walk in thinking one cook will be the guy but a 2nd cook does it instead. Way too stressful. Least I know what’s up when I cook at home. Thanks for forcing me to use my kitchen when I’d rather eat out.
Frustrating at best. Never knew a hourly amount created passion or just the plain concern to give customers what they order. And it be eattable. Definitely not Great Again.

It took over an hour for our pickup order to be ready. Once my husband got home my sausage and gravy was missing from my plate. This is not the first or even the second time my food has been messed up or it taking so long for it to be ready.

Just left this wh. Ordered two separate double hashbrowns, double cheese with gravy. Upon returning home one hashbrown weighed 512 grams and the other weighed 376 grams. The gravy was the viscosity of white water. I’m starting to wonder whats wrong with Shelbyville wh. Monday, October 3rd 2025

My wife and I visited this Waffle House for breakfast on Wednesday October 09, 2024. She offered Hashbrowns covered with Sausage Gravy. I ordered Hashbrowns “Smothered, Covered, Diced, Peppered and Capped”. We both had Coffee and Water. The coffee was not as hot as it should’ve been but everything else was very good. The sausage gravy was perfect as were the hashbrowns. I had a large surprise in mine for my first bite contained ninety percent of all the Jalapenos, and there was no way that I would have known them to be PICKLED. I was expecting fresh but learned my lesson not to order them again without asking.

Order 2 double hash browns!! Asked to be done both sides neither was correct Got one double 1 single!! Hardly any meat sandwich. Asked for lettuce tomatoes and onions on burger got nothing.. sigh 20 miles later got home nothing was right.
