Pretty great experience! The lady who took our orders was named Amanda and did seem to have a flat voice but it’s ok!! The aroma is great! I got a chocolate chip waffle, and there was not barely any chocolate chips on it.

Waffle House is a reliable staple. You get exactly what you expect even at very strange hours. The only thing unexpected is the local flavor of people who’ll chat with you over your meal.
A late night/morning visit is always the cherry on top of an evening out.
The food was great- this location had an excellent grill master! Everything expertly cooked just the way we asked! No hassle and fixed with care.
Jojo was our waitress extraordinaire! She got out 5 person order just right and kept the coffee coming.
Deshawn was friendly, efficient and kept the convo fresh.
The location was clean and inviting.

Busy stop along the highway. A lot of restaurants at this exit have a wait on the weekends.

Server checked me out and then told me I didn’t tip enough (it was $6 on a $25 bill). Then refused to serve me again. She was very ungrateful and upset and honestly ruined my night, definitely not an enjoyable experience and I wish I hadn’t tipped her at all.

We love the Waffle House and this one is a little smaller than your average location. Also, lots of I40 traffic. Regardless, the staff is friendly and helpful. Food is great, hot and fresh. It’s an experience and we love it.

My husband and I have been in there a couple of times woth no main issues. The last time was 8/23/25 after the fair and we had friends with us. Wait time wasn’t bad considering they were very busy and notary options at that time of night. Our waiter this time was slow and preoccupied. He cut his finger and left blood on the floor by our table. We were told there were no band aids and one of our party gave our waiter a band aid. The blood was never mopped up. No manager in site at night. Our friends got a free meal since kt was their food that was handled. Waffle House you need to.do better! Thats a blood borne pathogen and could be dangerous!
