They are onpoint!
I ordered the pork chops, smothered & peppered hash browns, and eggs over easy. The pork chops had a nice sear, juicy inside, and were seasoned well without being heavy. The hash browns were on point, crispy edges, soft in the middle, with onions and jalapeños cooked in just right. The eggs were over easy like they should be: whites set, yolks runny and perfect for dipping toast.
Shoutout to my server Nae, friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly. Food came out hot, the order was correct, and the vibe was relaxed.

Our waitress Niya was amazing! She had a great attitude. Served us with a smile. She was always checking to make sure we were satisfied and kept our drinks full. She also pays attention to detail to make sure ecerything was in place!

My daughter and I came in night before last and had the most awful experience I have ever had in a Waffle House (and I used to work at the one on Morgan Rd years ago). Came in the place was filthy… the one table that was halfway decent to sit at, we sat there. No one greeted us. Was ignored for 10+ minutes. Had to get up and get our own menu… the waiter was too busy clowning around with the cook… there was only 2 more tables across the store that was occupied. He served them and kept himself occupied to where he acted like he was too busy (with headphones on as well, which is disrespectful). When my daughter and I had enough of the terrible experience, we got up and left and was told “Have a nice day”!
This was the same waiter my husband and I had back in June and he acted like he didn’t know what he was doing as well. I will NOT BE BACK!!!! Had to drive to the Academy location for better service!

Came to dine in sat for 10 minutes no one greeted us no one said a word to me or my mom the guy had head phones on was talking to his coworker like they waa off the clock not caring we was there to eat, I had to get our menus we looked em over gave it a few more minutes and when I seen he wasnt worried about taking our order but cutting up with the other guy I went to leave and all he said was have a good night. I will never refer anyone to this waffle house nor will me and my family ever be back! Extremely poor service Extremely poor waiter! Awful of you ask me! And every table was disgusting you can tell they wasn’t cleaned food on them amd trash on them

The music was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself talk across the table. My wife asked for it to be turned down, and they turned it off, which followed with audible protests from the cook. We didn’t come at LUNCH for the cooks floor show. Every table was empty and filled with dirty plates except for one. Our server was very nice and received a good tip. She needs to go to a better location or establishment.
Beyond that, with waffle house?? Your menu has doubled in price and you get half the options. Either eggs or meat, but not both. Waffle house used to be the chain of the classic greasy spoon. Now it’s just an overpriced rip off. Will not be going back to this or any locations.

Ordering online is so convenient and when I got there to pick up my order I literally only waited like 3 min. I put in my order when I was about 10min away. Food was great as well.

The staff that was there Sunday evening, on June 1st did an outstanding job. All 3 employees were younger and I can honestly say they ran the place better than it’s usually run. Our food was cooked perfectly which rarely happens, our order was correct, the place wasn’t a mess, our waitress was extremely friendly, paid attention to what we needed and said, and gave great service. It was nice to see people actually working at work, and not sitting around on their phones, or talking and not doing anything when anyone can see there’s things that need to be done. There were other customers in there at the same time we were, as well as some to-go orders. You could tell that these 3 had kept up with things throughout the night, and cared about the quality of the services they were all providing. We rarely go out to get food around Hueytown because of how bad the service is at a lot of places, so this was really nice to have a night like we did. Great Job!
