Came by after a long and uneventful Daytona trip and man they delivered! Issac is one awesome cook! Got the all star w/ blueberry waffle and hash browns all the way, eggs cooked perfectly, and our waiter was courteous as well! Everyone was upbeat and friendly too. Definitely stop in if you want top tier waffle house.

7/31/25: Ever since my little màn could read the signs on the street, Waffle House has been on his bucket list.
“Mommy, how come I see a Waffle House sign everywhere we go along the street? I see the signs in Oklahoma, in Texas, and even in Florida. Have you taken me there? Have you been to Waffle House before? Is the food good?”
Well, it’s been 26 years since I last went to a Waffle House. It brings good memories when I was in high school with my friends walking across a grassy field to get to the Waffle House in front of the school campus for lunch. If I had taken notes about the taste and texture of food like I have now, I would not have taken my kids here.
All my kids ended up liking is the sunny side up eggs but the egg whites were still partially raw (clear and runny). I liked their ham.
Notes:
1. The classic original waffle was served warm, soft, soggy, with not a bit of little crispness to it.
2. The t-bone steak was the thinnest cut t-bone steak I ever had in my life and tasted bland without the aid of A1 steak sauce. I should have never ordered this at Waffle House but I didn’t find anything else on the menu that I like or would want to eat. (I prefer my juicy well seasoned thick cut steaks at Texas Longhorns and other steak restaurants.)
3. Hash browns was just loose. It doesn’t have the crispness I hoped for like Denny’s hashbrowns. The potato used tasted different. It has the texture of old potatoes that’s
about to sprout, it just lacks that starchiness from what I taste in potatoes.
The lady server we had was so friendly, sweet, and attentive. But I won’t be back since my kids both did not like the taste and texture of the food here except for the eggs which I can cook at home for them.

Bryan our server was great, with the exception of telling us he made our grits yesterday. Some of our food was hot some cold. A slice of cold cheese tucked in the clumpy grits… I guess it was because the cook was on her phone and eating herself. Her phone was actually on the cutting board( gross). Station a mess with only 1 other table that was already done eating. Then goes to bar to sit and continue scrolling on her phone. Station/ line still a mess. Server/ manager?? On the phone, eating at the bar and taking the next table and serving them still while on the phone. Wow. What an experience. Blueberry waffles were awesome. Won’t go back to this location. Its obvious nobody on that shift cared to be there but Bryan. 1030 pm on a Monday night.

My husband and I went here one night around 10 to order food. I ordered a grit bowl and was served 3 hard clumps with eggs, burnt bacon and sausage. My husbands food looked awful and the bacon was so burnt that it crumbled when you picked it up. I said something about my grit bowl and immediately got attitude from “TY” she said the cook didn’t cook it, when we complained about the bacon the manager took 30 minutes to even approach us had an attitude and she did not remove the items on my bill. She said that the bacon was not the way she served it. I explained to her that it is so burnt it broke apart but offered to calling the pieces back on the plate if she would like. Then she continued to say who didn’t cook it and I said it didn’t matter who cooked it but she did serve us something that we left in the table. She proceed to be loud and say she’s not getting in trouble for a comp and the manager or so I think she was started yelling and using profanity. Needless to say I left paying $32 and the food was left on the table. Contacted corporate and heard nothing. Since when does anyone have money to waste the food was left as it was served. We will go to Casselberry for now on.

This is probably the best Waffle house I have ever been too! The service was amazing! So nice, sweet, informative and hard working. And don’t get me started on the cook! For was ON POINT!!! Not to mention they were not stingy with the bacon in my omelet. They were cleaning and back forth to making sure they got things done while keeping up with great service. You could tell they actually cared about what they were doing. Raises for All of them please!

One of the best Waffle Houses I’ve ever been to (take this from a native Floridan). The staff was so friendly and prepared some of the best Waffle House food I’ve ever had in my 20 years of life. You would expect the typical Waffle House experience at 1 am (when we went) but the staff exceeded my expectations and Emma (our stunning waitress) was so friendly. This angel of a woman had the most amazing customer service. She treated us like lifelong friends and chatted with us. At the end of our woefully short visit, we left satisfied and full of wonderfully prepared food. If I had the ability to drive four hours to this Waffle House location every-time I craved that delicious greasy food, I would. But alas, I offer you, kind reader, the ability to enjoy this yourself.

Came in the evening of Sunday, November 11, 2025, at about 1AM. It was not terribly busy. My partner and I were not greeted even though the staff were aware we had entered the establishment. None of the tables had been cleaned. We sat for a little while and still no one brought us menus or cleaned our table. I used the restroom, sat a little longer, and decided to leave. I love Waffle House food and being known for their speedy service, this experience was a disappointment. Would not recommend this location.

They turn people away early in the morning, which is the only time you go to waffle house. Said they had to clean the grill, nobody was cleaning the grill or doing anything. Used to come here alot. Went to Perkins, was so good I don’t think I will ever go back to that waffle house. Sickly people working there also, cursing about the manager making them work.

Server did not care about us at all, gave us our check and left for 25mins and went around talking to other staff and customers. We attempted several times to get her attention but never received it. We usually get great service but this time around wasn’t it.
