Our waitress Ka’daisha was an absolute sweetheart—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, another waitress named Rachel really disrupted the whole meal. While we were eating, she was refilling salt and pepper shakers and kept reaching over/into our booth space without so much as an “excuse me.” It felt intrusive and uncomfortable. She was also slamming silverware and dishes into the sink so loudly that it was hard to have a conversation. She even stated right next to our table “lets dry some silverware, that should be fun!” We weren’t the only ones bothered—the rest of the staff looked visibly irritated, and even the manager seemed to be avoiding her.
Toward the middle of our visit we noticed that her shift was ending and she was going home. The moment she left, the entire atmosphere changed for the better. You could literally feel the tension lift, and the restaurant immediately became calm and pleasant again. The remaining crew was kind, professional, and clearly relieved.
Overall, great food and mostly wonderful people—we’ll definitely be back and just hope Rachel isn’t on shift next time. Ka’daisha and the rest of the team deserve huge props for keeping things together!
They are a stellar team. They went above and beyond making my food — everything was done quickly, efficiently, and correctly. On top of that, they were polite, communicative, and genuinely kind, which honestly made the whole experience stand out.
I’ll be real — I came in with an attitude. But the way they handled everything with patience, professionalism, and a positive outlook completely changed my mood. While it’s not anyone else’s job to emotionally regulate adults, their energy and customer service absolutely made a difference.
