I love stopping for WF just for the record, as there are none where we live. We have been to at least 20 different ones. The food is always consistent. What’s makes it good or bad is always the service. I don’t like having to ask for a coffee refills, especially when sitting at the counter. WF is like a classic diner in my opinion, unlimited coffee and it’s supposed to be full. This is not that hard.

Walked in – there was 2 tables with 2 people and 1 with 3 . We sat in a booth – only wanted 2 sausage egg and cheese biscuits. We were stared at when we walked in, that was all . I have been in alot of waffle houses but this sweet spot in monroe going towards winder just blowed me away. Night shift was polite, perfect service, food was exactly what I ordered perfect temp. As I do frequently stop at Waffle House all over the state, I can say without hesitation that this is the worst of the worst. No one was there when we arrived. That should have been our first clue. Then the 1 server working the place seemed very bothered we were there. No fresh coffee was made. The cook was just as bitter as that old coffee. The franchise owner should really stop by and experience what my family and I did. 4 out of 7 ended up with food poisoning from the bacon. Sadly, that was 2 of my grandchildren. Shame that this place has the name Waffle House attached to it. Never again!

I recently visited this Waffle House, and it was a pretty solid experience overall. The place seemed to have been remodeled in the last few years, which gave it a nice, updated feel. The food was exactly what you’d expect from a Waffle House – simple, hearty, and satisfying. Service was efficient, and the staff was friendly enough.
It wasn’t anything extraordinary, but it was a good, reliable meal. If you’re looking for a decent bite in a clean and recently refreshed setting, this Waffle House won’t disappoint.
