Ice cream treats are great, also had a meal there for first time. Onion rings, fries, were good. Deep fried mushrooms and hamburger were meh, would not do the ham and cheese sandwich again, was equivalent of gas station microwave sandwich.

Burgers and fries under $5!!!! Ice cream and shake/Sundae cone prices are about the same! Lots of flavors and menu items. Quick and friendly! You have to order from the window outside. You cannot go inside. Goofy parking lot too

We’ve been stopping at Dairy Way for 45 years now. My wife and I stopped when we were newlyweds and have stopped there any time we’re in the area. Over the years the food has changed but the basic atmosphere never changes, small town feel, good food, very clean, and polite service.

Great soft serve. “Small twist, with crunch, in a dish” is the way to go, in my opinion. Bigger menu than expected. Pretty quick service, with buzzers to let you know when your order is ready. Helpful staff. Awesome.
Burger deluxe was pretty good, but gonna try a double cheeseburger and fries next time. The Sriracha curds were great.

Stopped here for some soft serve treats and everything we had was excellent. Chocolate Cherry dipped cone, hot fudge sundae, Reese’s Pieces sundae and bubble gum smoothie. They also have typical “fair food” like corn dogs and chili fries. We really wanted to order food but had other dinner plans. The outdoor seating was nice on a fine summer afternoon.

Got a burger, which was not bad! Then cheese curds, sad to say they’ve changed. No longer the light battered, like they claim. They were hard, possibly overcooked. Then got what I thought were mini corn dogs. They were something breaded, with corn in it? They were not bad, just different! But as always, the ice cream is delicious and you definitely get what you pay for!

Dairy way wins the discrimination of the century award, on July 9 2025, I visited the dairy way in Black River Falls WI and witness a woman who clearly told a gentlemen she was the owner and she could do whatever she wanted including locking the guy out of her restroom and told him he was not allowed to use it.
I heard the gentlemen tell her he was disabled and needed to use the restroom she told him no, he got the floor wet and she did not want to clean it up.
I heard him explaining his disability and asking her again to use the restroom as he was a paying customer who had already purchased his food. She told him no. She would not unlock the restroom for him.
Another lady walked up to her and said she had been there for over 20 minutes, and she had purchased food could she use the restroom the woman who said she was the owner proceeded to unlock the door for her but mentioned again he could not use her restroom as she pointed to him.
Just a wow here people. I watched as the other lady walked away and another young woman with her four children asked if she could use the restroom and the person saying she was the owner proceeded to unlock the door for her as well but mentioned again the gentleman could not use the restroom even though he had mentioned to her several times he was disabled and needed to use the restroom. The woman who said she was the owner then proceeded to tell him to leave.
I watched him get into his vehicle without the staff even giving him a bag to put his food in that he had clearly paid for. His vehicle did have disabled plates. Whoever he is I hope he preceded with some sort of action against this lady who swore she was the owner, and she could do whatever she wanted.
If you don’t want people who are disabled to eat at your establishment and do not want to clean up after them knowing with common sense that disabled people probably have a harder time with things then a post sign.
Probably illegal but with the action I witnessed that day I will never return to said establishment. My thoughts are how unprofessional, and discrimination is this? Other costumers can use her restroom but the guy who said he was disabled and really needed to could not because he got the floor wet and she didn’t want to clean.
Awful just awful disabled people be careful where you choice to eat. I left with a complete wow in my mind and felt it fair to post what I witnessed.

They may not always do it but I requested a banana split in a waffle bowl n honestly it was everything. They didn’t miss a step with the ingredients/portion control as well as presentation. I’d definitely recommend.
