I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience needs attention from management or corporate.
Tonight I visited Waffle House and ordered two large grits ($4.75 each), vegetable toppings ($4 each), and a regular breakfast bowl with eggs, bacon, cheese grits, and toast (no waffle). For a simple order like that, my total somehow came out to $49.20.
That price makes absolutely no sense for what was ordered, and the portions were extremely small. It felt like items were either rung up incorrectly or multiple charges were added without explanation. When you’re paying nearly $50 for a basic breakfast, something is clearly wrong.
I’ve eaten at Waffle House many times over the years and have never experienced pricing like this. I would strongly encourage corporate or management to review the ticket and the pricing practices at this location, because customers deserve transparency and fair pricing.
Right now this feels like being overcharged for very little food, and that’s not the reputation Waffle House used to have. I’d appreciate someone from Waffle House corporate reaching out to review what happened here.

What I ordered vs. What had to do with my food to make sure I didn’t get sick!!! Honestly this terrible and they didn’t even try I ordered cheese steak and eggs with grits!! They gave me shoe leather, dry eggs and a brick of grits!! Shut this location down or only put people at the grill who know how to cook!!

Everyone I have interacted with here is hard working, positive and usually smiles. I’ve even seen them be professional around customers that went off on them. Every time I came for my food I had no problems. If you’re mature, level headed have some sense you’ll be satisfied. They are definitely the fastest I’ve ever seen.
