You can order by phone or in person. If they don’t answer the phone, they’re either closed or swamped. Even when they’re swamped with a line out the door, we had our pizzas in under 25 minutes. The folks behind the counter are low stress and friendly, which makes waiting painless. In our house, each pizza is personal sized. Get one for each adult. Pizzas are $14+. Slices are $4+.
Bonus: ordering in-person means you can see the weekly specials. They’re worth considering.
Anyways, the pizza is top shelf and is in our weekly rotation. Enjoy!

The good: Great atmosphere for pickup, fresh ingredients, easy to order and FAST (like ready in 10 minutes).
The not so good: Ours were kind of gooey with most of the thin crust blending in the with toppings while the outside was a little burned. It’s also a little pricey for pizza while the pizzas are quite small.

This is certainly the best thin-crust style pizza I’ve had in the Skee. As soon as I saw the proper char on the crust I knew it was going to be a good one. If you see the photo with char and think it’s a lot don’t worry, the undercarriage of the pizza is not burned and is cooked perfectly. That’s very normal for this style pizza. The cheesecake was excellent too. Thank you!

I wanted to like the pizza, but if I’m being honest it was terrible. Not mediocre, not okay, it was terrible. Which was a surprise because it looked fantastic and was highly reviewed, but it completely missed the mark. My wife and I were visiting the nearby beach with our dogs and stopped over for lunch. We ordered a margarita pizza. The middle was completely watery, paper thin, and soggy, and the bottom was completely covered in black charred carbon. It was as if the pizza oven had lots of burned crust and corn meal left inside and the pizza was placed on it and cooked without cleaning the extra burned bits out. We love wood fired oven pizza, and eat it often, but rarely is it like this. I mean it was basically inedible due to the overwhelming taste of bitter, burned charred food. We were really excited to try this place and actually made a special trip up from Grand Haven to try it because we love wood fired pizza and it was so highly reviewed, and again it looked fantastic, the ingredients and toppings looked like high quality stuff, but in the end we were extremely disappointed. I’m not sure if it was an off day or a fluke, but that is my honest review. I wished it was better and wanted to like it, but I’m not sure if I would try it again. If it was an off day, it definitely is an opportunity for improvement to train the staff to clean the oven more frequently. It was bad enough to complain and send back had it been an in restaurant meal, but we had picked it up to go and returned back to the beach where we attempted to eat it only to find it was inedible.

The food is amazing. The people working here are all very friendly and easy to interact with. You can see your pizza being made from a ball of dough through to the finished pizza. The dessert options are all very good as well. My oldest daughter and I split the pistachio cheesecake quite often and love it. Tried the turtle cheesecake recently it was excellent.

I just went here for the first time and it was a great experience. The vibe is excellent and everyone is super chatty, friendly, and having a good time. Customers chat with one another, the staff chats with you while they cook your pizza, and a guy even gifted the staff with a plant while I was in. Even as an introvert I loved it! This place is definitely about community.
As for their pizza, it is so fresh tasting and light. Perfect for after a trip to the beach. They work closely with farmers so have seasonal featured pizzas depending on what’s fresh. I will be back often!

The pizza was off the hook and the crew in there are funky and awesome! Nice little small business. I love that the menu is simple and all one size Perfect little addition to Lakeside. They also have fresh breads, the pistachio cheesecake was AMAZING as well as the chicken salad! Loved it all! We will definitely be back! ❤️

Best pizza I’ve had in the midwest. Great seasonal specials, as well as single slices available. Staff was super friendly and excited to talk about their pizzas. They had a seasonal apple caramel cheesecake for fall, definitely worth trying. Love to see places where people are passionate about what they do, and this is one of them!
