I recently visited this Waffle House and placed a to-go order.
While I understand the restaurant can get very busy, the experience felt somewhat disorganized.
As a to-go customer, I stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes before being acknowledged and able to place my order.
During that time, most attention appeared to be given to seated guests, while to-go customers were largely overlooked.
At times, staff members were present (as in to take orders) but no one addressed those waiting to order or provided updates.
I would recommend improving communication and assigning clearer responsibility for handling to-go orders, especially during peak hours, so all customers feel acknowledged in a timely manner.
I appreciate the hard work of the staff and hope this feedback helps improve the overall customer experience moving forward.

Nice staff but 1 employee was nasty, he coughed in his had and rubbed his nose and continued to handle the food. I actually saw him dragging the bacon across the counter top. I nearly lost it. I don’t think I would ever dine there ever again. Other than that the staff was nice

Wish I could give it zero stars. This morning, 3/28/24 at 6 am. We pulled up and a waitress came out and made us move our car. No problem. We moved it then we went inside and she stayed outside to smoke. We sat and no one helped up. Eventually, she came up to our table, slapped the sugar down while mumbling, then disappeared into a corner. She didn’t come back to the table. We asked the cook if they were serving today and he said “Your sender is sitting over there” so we left and drove to the one at exit 8.
While 10-15 minutes might not be a lot to some, when you’re driving across 5 states, every minute counts. Plus, if you’re not open or capable of sending us- please say something!!

Well walked in and every table was dirty and this staff was standing around talking no acknowledgement of any sort one server was cleaning a table one item at a time 1 cup . One fork, So I asked how long is it going to take her to clean the table ? So a older female bald came over and cleaned the table. We sit down the server ( same one), now she brings over the coffee. Ok well she comes back and takes our order. Well this was where the dream. Turned into a nightmare plate come out grit’s toast I asked for wheat bread no eggs bacon burnt!! And hard then she takes the bacon back comes back again with the bacon raw burnt . My husband order came out raw bacon. Eggs burnt along with the hash browns he asked for onions also asked the waitress for ketchup and she went to go get some but check this she never came back. So now we are wondering where is she so now we asked where the ketchup? She looked as though I am not sure. So now I am wondering was this place the right place

We just tried to eat at Waffle House in Ridgeland, SC and while we are eating (the food was very good) one of the staff vomits in front of all of us in a trash can. No effort to even make it to the back of the store. Absolutely disgusting! Did not even get to finish half of our meal.

We came in to a no music, quiet restaurant. There was a table that was not bussed yet, the employee was standing there not doing much. When she finally got around to us, she was very short with us. I got a hash brown bowl, she didn’t ask if I wanted gravy, which I normally do. She forgot my stepmoms bacon and got an attitude when she asked for it.

A great place to drop in and get a bite to eat, though plenty of in-town locals eat here, too. Typical diner service and good quality. A total slice of Americana you don’t get in the cities.
