Eric had the grill cleaner than I’ve ever seen in a Waffle House. Plus he was cleaning as he was cooking. Fresh pot of grits cooked before our eyes taste like homemade to perfection. All the food was fresh and cooked to order specifically the way we requested. One of our waffles didn’t come out to his liking. He immediately remade it without us having to ask. Most people would have still boxed it up. I must admit we were impressed with their service, presentation, quality food and clean atmosphere. Arriving home after a long drive to grab food from this place was definitely worth the wait to eat. My other half has now given Eric the name of Easy E of the WH grill. Congratulations on a job well done.

This location is amazing. I stopped around the area during a roadtrip to beat traffic. Best decision. The food was perfectly cooked, but it was the service that stood out. It was brilliant, friendly, staff were attentive and smiling. Sabrina is an amazing employee! The atmosphere was extremely inviting.

Hey, it’s just Waffle House, right. Staff are always courteous, friendly and efficient. Food is always good and served with care.
But THIS Waffle House was just a cut above the many others we have encountered in our full time travels. The environment was noticeably well maintained and the staff was extra friendly. Food was served very quickly and presented in a very appealing manner. It was clearly evident that management had a hand in this restaurant’s operations.

Very disappointed with the customer service at this location in Hardeeville off Independence Boulevard. I walked in and stood at the counter when the cashier abruptly said, “No ma’am, I’m not taking any more orders today,” and continued packing other orders without any explanation or acknowledgment. I was left standing there for several minutes until a cook came out and kindly took my order.
I appreciate the cook stepping in, but the cashier’s behavior felt intentionally rude and unprofessional.

It’s what you would expect. I actually had a waffle and the taste was pretty good but the texture was off. Rubbery like it wasn’t finished cooking. The omelet was ok, it was cooked in to much oil. I still would go back again.

The cook treated who took our order, James, very poorly. He yelled at him to the point that made me jump. Then, the cook yelled at James again and blamed him for messing up our order. James announced the order correctly as I heard him do so. The way the cook treated James was deplorable and VERY embarrassing for James who took it professionally and did not react adversely to the situation. This is not the way to treat a good employee. My over easy eggs yolks were popped and over fried, as was the waffle. The cook is the problem not James.

I went to this WH not because I wanted to but it was walking distance from my hotel. Big mistake. I should have driven somewhere else. At this WH the waitress was prompt and friendly and the place was not busy but that’s where it ends. The AC was blasting cold wind everywhere, the menu was limited and the prices were over the top. My order (2 eggs, home fries, sausage, toast @ $12.00, yup $12.00 + tx/tip) was entirely under cooked, including home fries and toast and borderline raw, except for the dried out sausage patty. All served on a greasy, fingerprint covered platter. I should have sent the whole mess back but didn’t. This is not what I had in mind after 9 hrs of driving. No more Waffle House for me.

There was literally only one group of kids there waiting to order and one single man waiting to order. We walked out. Horrible attitude.
