Was takeout only when we went. If you go inside you’ll see why. It is rundown and needs a lot of renovating. Hopefully they can make that happen one day. The lady was blunt but helpful. We ordered 2 special combinations. One was beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, and an egg roll. The other same but Mongolian beef. Unfortunately the Mongolian beef wasn’t very good, lacking flavor and really salty. Same situation with the beef and broccoli. The breaded chicken was kinda soggy if not an oil sponge unfortunately. I didn’t like my food, was typical low quality American Chinese that comes frozen I think.

Empty place, but delicious food.
We were sad at first that they didn’t have an evening buffet but our food was really good.

Ended up canceling my order. Only went here because the Crazy Asian was closed. Very depressing inside. I was the only one among may tables and most lights out. She said my dish would take 20 minutes. Why? “You want to cancel order?”. That is a good idea, thanks.

Bad quality food, hot and sour soup has only tofu in it, no carrots, no sea weed, no mushrooms, no any kind of meat, absolutely disgusting! Chicken nuggets are made out of some sponge when you split them in half, definitely not a real chicken. Prices just like at any good Chinese restaurant except that this restaurant is not good at all!

Great food! Clean quiet atmosphere. Fast friendly service. Orange chicken, General Tao Chicken, fried dumplings, and hot & sour soup are all great. Some of the best we’ve had.

Not sure how this place has gotten such good reviews, but I have not been impressed. The generals chicken, as well any of the other fried chicken dishes, is simply popcorn chicken deep fried in old grease and coated with sauce. The fried rice had some funky seasoning in it, and the flavor of the rest of the food was just off. Try the other place that is in town, it is much better.

Disappointed, barely any flavor and low quality shrimp.
I saw reviews and thought it was great but is not. Nice people but bad cook.
I come from where u get the real deal and this food is not anywhere near that.
Sorry j&j for the bad review, just being honest. Improve your food quality and flavor and youll come on top. 2stars because they’re nice people not because of food.

Traveling and wanted something different than fast food as we were staying the night in Glendive Mt. Saw good reviews so we choose J&J Chinese Cafe. To be honest – wish we would have eaten fast food. We ordered sweet n sour chicken (too much batter and tasted off like it was in freezer too long or something), pork egg fu young (no veggies and just totally not good), pork fried rice, no veggies but 2 peas in quart container and was so dry could not eat). If this is what some reviews I read said it was the best in the area I want to taste the worst. No where authentic chinese food. Would not recommend. The only good thing was the staff who took our order was nice and did wear a mask due to Covid-19.

By far the worst Chinese i have ever ordered. Way too much salt which made the egg rolls inedible. the entree had zero flavor and it was black pepper seasoned. Chicken was borderline rotten when cooked. That when added to the meal made the entire meal taste of bad chicken.

This was a great place to stop and get takeout (covid). The portions were generous and the food tasted very good! They adapted one of their dishes to make it vegetarian upon request. Thank you J & J!
