During a previous experience I witnessed a server biting her nails while handling food. As someone who works in food service I was baffled. My friends and I paid for our drinks and left without eating that time. Today a server threw our straws onto our table without a word. Every time I eat here my grits are chunky. I don’t know why I even try ordering them anymore. They were chunky once again, today, during my experience on 10/26. We had the same server which we had seen biting her nails in the past. On top of this, my friends’ food was just undercooked overall. Used to be a decent place, the night shift is much better.

Visited around 11:30AM Christmas morning .
The Waffle House was over packed . Waiting time was about 15 minutes, with about 4 sets of customers in line for seating.
The customers were loud, the jukebox was playing Christmas songs, standing/waiting room was elbow to elbow.
But this CREW/GROUP of COOKS/WAITRESSES were NOTHING LESS THAN OUTSTANDING in their Character/Personality, Mannerisms, Attentiveness, Patience, Politeness, etc..
They were SURPRISINGLY AMAZING being able to maneuver through and in/out of each other’s way with such limited space behind the bar, quickly to seat-respond to-take/place order and check back in with the seated customers and reassure the waiting customers. As I came in the front doorI heard 4 different voices of “Welcome to Waffle House”. I could not find any of the faces to the greeters because of so many customers and that I’m very short but nonetheless I heard them from all different parts of the restaurant loud and clear.
The first thing I thought was that there is going to be a lot of tension and attitudes in here with all the waitresses BUT that was far from the way the experience was.
These Ladies were Excellent .
They all were Very Professional Seasoned and Experienced. Their Dispositions and Demeanors were Above High Average with Surprising Expectations of what I thought it would be.
I am 52 years old and I have worked in the food industry all of my life beginning at 9 years old on all levels of the ladder and I have the knowledge, expertise and experience to be able to “View and Review” as a so called Critic …. My experience today. I had a party of 4 including a young toddler with breakfast orders.
The overall Atmosphere was very upbeat and fast paced with calm, confident and controlled Expertise.
The Cleanliness of the Floors and the Bathroom was Surprisingly Exceptional and Adequately Stocked. All the Staff were wearing Christmas Accessories, they had Christmas Music playing and every Greeting I heard from them to sitting and standing customers included Merry Christmas .
This group of staff from the cooks to the waitresses to the table busters to the dish washers and to the managers were all working together as smooth and precise as a finely oiled machine and should be noted as The Waffle House Dream Team. What a Great Start to Christmas Day.

We stopped in at the Seneca SC Waffle House for a late breakfast right after Winter Storm Fern 2026 and thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and cheerful, in fact, we said we got breakfast and a show! Connor was an excellent waiter, making sure we had everything we needed and frequent refills on our coffee. We even noticed that he stopped and picked up a napkin off the floor underneath a table he wasn’t serving. Kudos to the staff. The manager must be wonderful, because good management makes for happy employees. Great experience!

Servers and cooks were very polite and professional. My food was excellent and tasted delicious. My eggs were cooked perfectly. The sausage and hash browns were also done right. Coffee was fresh, not hours old. Hats off to this establishment.

This is my go to Waffle House. Consistently cooked perfectly with different cooks. I’m sure they have a great trainer. Servers get unnecessarily way too loud while customers are trying to eat and have their own conversations.

A Heavenly Encounter at Waffle House
My husband, our daughter Jade, and I came in today just expecting a meal, but we left with something far more sacred — a divine reminder that God still speaks through people.
Our waitress was more than kind; she carried a peace and light that we could feel the moment she approached our table. At the end of our meal, she handed us our bill — and on the back, she had written Psalm 51:10: “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
What she didn’t know was that my husband and I had just been talking about forgiveness, renewal, and the new life the Lord has given us. That single verse, written by her hand, felt like Heaven’s seal — as if the Lord Himself renewed our vows before Him right there at that table.
We are so grateful for her gentle spirit and obedience to write what she felt led to. This wasn’t just breakfast — it was a blessing. May the Lord richly bless that sweet woman for being His messenger today.

Stopped in this morning for a quick breakfast, but could barely get through it as the three guys behind the line were shouting and spewing their political nonsense and openly stating how they are anti-American. The only employee that had a respectable demeanor was the woman on staff. I really don’t care what your stance is on politics. You don’t go to Waffle House at 8 o’clock in the morning to have politics shouted while you try to eat two eggs and hashbrowns.

Great experience as always. Even during the Saturday morning rush, we received our food hot and cooked as ordered. The morning cooks here could train many of Waffel House cooks around the area. Really looking forward to our next visit.
