This was hands down the most disturbing experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
There were only two employees working, who appeared to be a boyfriend and girlfriend, and instead of doing their jobs they were engaged in a loud, aggressive domestic argument. The male employee was screaming at the female employee to the point that it looked like it could turn physical, making customers visibly uncomfortable.
The female employee spent more time sitting in her car than inside the restaurant. During that time, she
appeared to be using drugs, then coming back inside yelling obscenities at customers and security. Her behavior was erratic, aggressive, and completely inappropriate for a workplace.
Security had to intervene multiple times, and police were called twice while we were there due to the
employees’ behavior. What makes this even worse is that Waffle House pays for the security at this
location, and those guards should never be subjected to that kind of disrespect, verbal abuse, and hostile behavior from the employees they are there to support.
Around 1:30 AM, when customers finally started coming in, the female employee screamed at them,
causing them to immediately leave. People were literally scared away. The environment was unsafe,
unprofessional, and completely out of control. No food was worth staying for, and I will never return to this location. Here’s Kenzo ken and Bando Barb for reference;

I filed a complaint on the BBB website about an issue I had at this Waffle House location. The way they jumped into action and quickly resolved the issue was phenomenal. The manager, Tonya Boatwright, personally reached out and offered a solution that went above and beyond what was expected. Great customer service!

We came in in Christmas Eve there were 2 employees working BOTH did an excellent job. The waiter was awesome & was doing his best to keep up. The cook did a great job keeping things moving our food was served quickly & tasted awesome!! Both of these guys need a raise!!

The atmosphere was definitely not inviting. Employees seemed reluctant to be there, the restaurant was take-out only, and we were freezing outside while trying to order from a limited menu. The cook on the grill frequently gave us nasty looks and muttered comments under his breath while we waited. The food was okay at best, and the worst coffee I’ve ever had.

What can I add about Waffle House. If you’re from the south or visit the south, you’ve probably been there and you know what to expect. Good food, good price, always friendly. Also, you can judge a hurricane by whether the local Waffle House is open or closed. If it’s closed, you should leave!

I would give our server Marla 6 stars she was very kind and wonderful! Our food was also perfect! The hostess however is completely disrespectful and rude. Telling us we can’t put a chair at the end of our booth while several others have one at the end of theirs. Meanwhile we did not even need the chair because my children are small enough to fit in the booth with us. She is rude when customers try to help and will try to force them sit in the waiting chairs before giving them a table. Uttering swear words when she forgets to bring the proper amount of menus to a new table. Every Waffle House I’ve been to has been first come first serve so it was our mistake for not realizing this one had a hostess as she was nowhere to be seen for the first 5 minutes we waited for a table to open up. We will not come back here again simply because of her. It’s a shame because the other staff are wonderful and kind

We had come down to the beach for the night and ate at Waffle House for supper on Thanksgiving. ALL the staff were welcoming, friendly and had the best atmosphere! Service was fast and the food was excellent!!!

I feel like I was robbed! First time coming here and the last. Why can’t these breakfast places ever cook eggs? I ordered med-well eggs and still come out with super runny whites! The wife’s hash brown bowl had a black curly hair in it, looks like a beard hair. Very disappointing but , kind of expected it. The server was very friendly though.

CJ was such a fantastic server! We order two All Stars and modified a lot of things on the order and CJ handled it with such grace. There were 3 other tables and they were mean as hell but CJ was one of the best servers we ever had!
