Waffle Houses are hilarious! It’s a place where the back of house is dumped into the front of house, and you get to experience it all! The sweet servers were cooking and serving their buns off! They really know how to get people in and out quick, which we appreciated! The cleanliness could have been a bit better, and the floors definitely need to be swept more attentively, as there were large napkins and fallen food items under all the bar stools. A manager or supervisor came in as we were leaving. He was very nice and asked how we were, but no attention to those floors (clearly a pet peeve of mine!). You want to hear restaurant gossip- go to a Waffle House! Oh, and that melted butter on the waffle was fire!

I’ve never had any issue at this location. Staff is always friendly and attentive and the food is spot on every time. Today Jalissa is the MVP. She saw my order was wrong before I even did and fixed it promptly. you go girl!

I’ve never had a complaint with this location until tonight. The server, Ashley isn’t friendly and seemed to have a bad attitude the moment she walked to the table. She put forks down asked for our drink orders, Came back and asked if we were ready to order. We may have been if she had given us menus to begin with.
Two breakfast orders that should be simple, but obviously not. First order-two eggs sunny side up, the other order, two eggs scrambled. Sunny side up was cooked over essy. When Ashley was told the eggs weren’t as ordered, she stated “that’s how we do it here” and walked off. She must have thought we didn’t know the difference of how eggs are cooked, but was told this wasn’t our first time eating at this WH.
The “scrambled” eggs were fried eggs, cut up. One bite was taken and they were horrible tasting.
After asking again to recook the sunny side up eggs, they did recook which Ashley proceeded to walk away as soon as she left them, because they busted the yolks on the eggs prior to bringing. The bacon orders were not WH usual and was curled.
We explained all the issues of the food and Ashley asked what we wanted her to do about it. I offered to pay for the drinks, which we didn’t even drink half of. Again, paying for the drinks was generous, and she told me the total was $28.50. She was told we were not eating the meased up food and not paying for the food. She said she’d explain to the manager about the bill. Please do! I wish I had the cooks name because I’d add her on this too. Female, short curly hair.

Waffle House has the best breakfast in town. They are a southern institution. Very good atmosphere and service. The food is reasonably priced and you get a lot of it with your order.

Today my travels took me to Walterboro SC. There were several breakfast options available but I chose Waffle House and enjoyed a delightful breakfast. I was greeted and served by Tiffany, who was polite and efficient with my order. The cook, Korrie prepared my meal to order. It was delicious. The bacon is always freshly cooked at Waffle House unlike many other restaurants. The high standard of consistency is what I appreciate about Waffle House, you are able to travel many miles and still receive a quality meal at an affordable price. I encourage you to visit often as you travel, I’m glad I did.

My girlfriend and I had an incredible experience at The Waffle House! The food was great, but what truly made it special was the amazing service. Mandy was extremely kind, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Her warm attitude added so much to our visit—definitely a highlight of our day.

My spouse and I made a dinner stop here on our journey towards home from Florida. This was a random pit stop, and we’re so glad we found this place. This Waffle House is the best location I’ve ever been to. The staff are the true gems of this restaurant. Ashley. C and April were such great servers. They are well mannered and very friendly. Alex was running the show at the grill, cooking single-handedly for an entire restaurant full of people. He was impressive to watch coordinating so many meals at once. Even being so busy, he’d check in with patrons behind him to see if everything was okay with their meals. I haven’t seen this true, efficient, polite wholesome American service in years. They’re genuinely pleasant, and it’s so refreshing to see these team members working in sync with each other and happy while doing their jobs. We enjoyed our meals a lot. I ate the chicken hash brown bowl with onions, and my spouse had the bacon patty melt. Both meals were well portioned and reasonably priced. If we ever come back through this area, we’ll definitely return.

Ever feel depressed and feeling down? What does this have to do with a restaurant review? Good question. Everything! (For this restaurant!) My family slept nearby, and I always look for well-reviewed local businesses that serve fresh locally sourced food. This one was right near my place of stay. We sat at the bar and met the gang of staff working there with a smile and music on their feet and lips. They served simple American meal, and did it with great pleasure. Drop by, and you will not be down afterward. Hashbrown was perfect, and eggs were done great. Bacon was crisp. Did I mention that the waffle made my family smile and hum on the way out? It is your turn to sing and smile again.
