Amazing food and amazing service. This location is right off the highway so it’s perfect if you’re traveling. The waitress that helped me was incredibly sweet and reminded me of my mother. The chef was very fast and took care with his food. The location was fairly clean but busy so understandable. Stop by if you love waffles!

I just got a notice about reviewing this place that I visited about 7 months ago. If you look at my pic’s it’s under Pilot’s Gas Station. I could not get it to change at the time of rating it. Now that I have gotten this notice my review has been deleted, even though I stated that it wasn’t the gas station. Anyway, from what I recall there were only 2 workers that night a waitress & a cook. The waitress was very nice and polite, took my order and had no problems at all. The place was not crowded at all, only 2 other people in their, but it took sometime for me to get my order. The cook had long dreadlocks and somewhat had his hair pulled back, I did not think of nothing at the time…. When I received my meal, I took pictures of it and shortly after my phone died! As I was eating my meal under scrambled eggs there were hair & even under the top layer of my grits had dreadlock hair mixed in with it! After that I just got up and with to the cash register and gave the waitress a $5 tip and thanked her for her service and told her that I was not going to be paying for the meal and if she wondered why, just to got look at the plates! So, I left and if I decide to go back I’ll make sure the guy with dreadlocks isn’t working before I make an order again! But, it still will be a long time before visiting!

Walked in and grabbed a seat at the bar. We were acknowledged and told it would be just a minute. After a minute the cook turned around asking one of the servers to take the food he cooked to a table, and her response was that she didn’t ring it in. She said the other servers went outside to smoke (the ones that told us it would be a minute). We waited 10 minutes and got up and left before even getting offered a drink

The cook was nice. The waitress was very rude. Walked in and she asked me, “dine in or take out”. I couldn’t hear her so I asked her what she said? She said it again, but very smugly and with attitude. I said nevermind and walked out. I thought maybe she was just having a moment, so i went back in and told her i was dining in and she sighed and rolled her eyes because she had to wipe down a towel. Didn’t feel like I was at a professional establishment for sure.

UPDATE 9/19/23…Absolutely LOVE the waitress on 1st shift. Her name is Lisa, and she deserves a dang raise for her amazing customer service, smile, and friendly attitude. Did not get her this visit because I was dining alone and couldn’t sit at a booth, but she was super friendly and always a great waitress. The waitress I did get, took my order, brought me my water, and that’s it. I honestly think she is just shy and possibly new.
The cook, Dalton, did forget my cheese on my hashbrowns, but corrected it promptly and made the best cheesesteak sandwich and hashbrowns I’ve ever had. He brought me my plate as well.
It’s one of the cleanest Waffle Houses I’ve been to, and I’ve been to LOTS. I love the staff at this location and the way they help each other! Food is always awesome, but Dalton really killed it this time.
