I visited this Waffle House on Gillespie St. with my boyfriend on February 16th around 10am. Sequoiah (I’m pretty sure that was her name) was our server and she was a sweetheart and very attentive. We had gone to a Waffle House maybe a week or so before and had a TERRIBLE experience, so this was a really nice change! She made our dining experience feel wonderful, it was also very lively in there and it was nice. The food was all cooked perfectly and it was delicious! And I just want to applaud this location for their syrup bottles not being sticky, this is one of the only times I wasn’t grossed out touching the syrup. My boyfriend had incorrectly asked for onions in his grits when he meant to ask for cheese. They quickly fixed it with a smile after he realized the mistake!

I ordered a Bacon grit bowl today and I barely had any bacon in my dish. This is the third time this has happened. The bacon i got was all fat and no meat. Y’all need to do better than this, food is not cheap. Give the people what they pay for and you need to fix your phone line because when you try to call this store the phone line goes to an automated message without any options for the customer to contact the store directly. 9This is the Waffle House at 2319 Gillespie street Fayetteville NC.

First time coming here and I had a bad experience and wont be coming back here if the same waitress is working. Did not get my order right. Never checked to see if I wanted something. Only me and another gentleman was in there. Scrambled eggs was burnt. The cook was nice.

Had the joy of having Mimi help me when I came in. I was definitely hungry, and in between us talking I was impressed by her because she was all over the place and helping everyone. The group that was there on October 8th were very close. You could tell this. Everything I had was made correctly. Everyone helped everyone else and it was a great moment of everyone going above and beyond their responsibilities to ensure everyone got food fast and others could take their break. Mimi in particular was like The Flash. Moving easily all over to help everywhere.

I usually hate Waffle Houses but this one was pretty good. The waitress was friendly, the cook was pretty cool, and the waffle was decent. What more can you ask for at 5am in the morning. The Waffle House here in North Carolina is a lot cleaner too. Fayetteville is nothing like Dirtona at all
