I went here a few weeks ago and the food was good, as was the service. I ordered almost the EXACT SAME ORDER minus 1 item and it was perfect. That’s the only reason I’m giving 3 starts instead of the 1 star I feel it deserves for last night. The waitress was very curt and a lot of my order was jacked up. My Texas cheesesteak was wrong. I asked for mushrooms and they gave me jalapeños instead. The eggs on my sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits were burnt and the bread was hard. I asked for crispy hashbrowns then made sure to correct it to crunchy and told her twice, NOT BURNT, because I know they’ll burn them. They were dark brown and rock-hard. The didn’t have a lid for my grits so they used a cup lid. That would have been fine but it was sticking up halfway open when she tried to put it in the bag. I had to ask her multiple times for aluminum foil so it wouldn’t spill. The grits were so dry it was like a ball. When she FINALLY gave me the aluminum, she snatched it from the holder and ripped it almost completely in half and still handed it to me. Awful experience. The only things that were good were the scrambled eggs, the bacon, and waffle.

As far as waffle houses go, this one was average. My food came quickly but others at my table had to wait longer. However, it was midnight and there were a lot of us, so it is understandable.
Tried this spot again and was pleasantly surprised! Waffle, as usual, was yummy, but can we talk about the omelet! So fluffy, and you have to order it with all the veggies!

I love a good Waffle House and this one is the best. Very clean, friendly staff, good food. I went around 11 am with my Gramma. We ordered the cheese steak sandwiches with hash-browns and they came to us steaming. Coffee was good too, sometimes it’s burned at other WH but not this one. There was hardly anyone in there when we arrived, ate, and left.

November 21 approximately 12:30 PM, my husband and I entered waffle house only three people were in there eating. They were three waitresses there and a cook. We sat down. No one come to wait on us. They just looked at us and ignored us. The three girls that were waitresses were just carry on every day conversation and the cook had a seat in a chair. We were totally ignored, so we walked out very, very disappointed and will not return.

I was very upset at this waffle house on Rte 221..No one was here when me and my daughter stopped to eat..We ordered chocolate milk and they brought it to us 1/2 full and full of ice??? Then I’m told we have to pay for refills..unreal 3.00 a glass fir 2 sips..Given our waitress 1st day still everything was wrong..My hashbrowns didn’t get gravy but chili..My sandwich was supposed to be sausage my daughter got bacon so both ended up being bacon but mine had sausage on the bottom of it too..crazy..idk..but I did tip my waitress regardless even a poor job thsts her income so with that I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS WAFFLE HOUSE AND DONT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL..worst one ive ever been too in all my life. I grew up on WAFFLE house my mom waitressed in Lynchburg for 10+ years..
