Everything was closed on Christmas, and finding Waffle House open in Roanoke felt like a blessing while passing through the city. It was the only place serving hot breakfast, so it was super busy—but the staff was working hard and fast to keep things moving. The parking lot was completely full, which says a lot. Really appreciated having a warm meal when everything else was shut. Respect to the team for showing up on a holiday

Kim was our waitress & we hit the jackpot! She was great. We never had to ask for refills ect… I ordered my food well done & she made sure it was cooked well. I overheard her say she’s usually on the grill so I’m thankful she wasn’t when we came in.

If its one thing Waffle House knows how to do, it’s breakfast. Everything cooked the way I wanted. It was busy when we came in, but food was fixed quick. Staff was friendly. It’s hard not to like a place that fixes breakfast 24/7.

I’ve been going here for a few months now, I think the staff considers me a regular now since some of them know my order. The service is good, they are hard workers anytime that I am there. They refill your drinks and get your meals out on time. My only complaint is that I wish they were a little more careful about where/when they do the dishes, I am constantly paranoid that they might splash dish water into my food or beverage.

I went very early on a Sunday morning. When I arrived their was a very rowdy crew leaving and they completely destroyed the restaurant. The staff still let me come in after all the commotion and order my food and was still polite after all they had been through. The food came out fast and great!

My parents and I had breakfast there this morning. Wanted a place to sit down. Plenty of parking for our car trailer. Our server Justin was awesome and very attentive. Always seemed to know when we need a refill. Very friendly. Reminds us of why we enjoy Waffle House when we travel because we don’t have them in Maine! Food was excellent too. The jukebox was a nice addition. I played a tune before we left. Keep up the good work. Nice to have a table already bussed so we could sit down immediately.
