Stopped in recently and had a great experience. The staff was genuinely friendly, the place was clean, and my order was made exactly how I asked even with a bunch of changes. I got a steak hash brown bowl with no onions and no cheese, and I added mushrooms, tomatoes, and two over easy eggs. Everything came out right, cooked well, and tasted great. I also appreciated that she brought me water with no ice without any hassle. Solid visit.

If you are looking for a simple breakfast that is prepared quickly for a reasonable price you found it. I drive past other Waffle Houses to get to this one. BTW try the raisin toast. Not many people serve but they get it right.

Concerning experience at Waffle House on Old Lane Road

I came into this Waffle House already having a rough day after being in a car accident earlier that Saturday. I was simply hoping to sit down, decompress, and enjoy a calm breakfast.

When I arrived, I was open to sitting either at a table or the bar, but several bar seats were left dirty with cups and food debris. A young woman asked if I was waiting to be seated, and I explained that I was waiting for either option. Unfortunately, no effort was made to clean the bar area, so I eventually had to ask a gentleman myself if he could wipe down a space so I could sit.

Once seated, my server, Molly, took my order. There was no greeting or friendliness. When my food arrived, my hashbrowns were missing the cheese I ordered. I watched as she asked the cook to “slap” a piece of cheese on top, which was placed on cold and not melted at all. Throughout my entire visit (about 40 minutes total), I was never offered coffee—I had to ask for it.

What was most upsetting was the clear difference in treatment compared to other customers. An older gentleman sat next to me and mentioned it was his birthday. Suddenly, Molly’s entire demeanor changed—she laughed, was attentive, repeatedly offered coffee, and even offered him a free T-bone steak. This showed me she was fully capable of being kind, respectful, and attentive.

I was polite the entire time, said thank you whenever she brought anything, and never gave an attitude. That same courtesy was not returned. I wasn’t going to beg for basic service.

When I paid, I shared my concerns with the woman at the register. She apologized and offered me a coffee to go, which I declined. Coffee would have been appreciated while I was actually sitting there eating.

You never know what someone is dealing with when they walk through your doors. A little kindness, attentiveness, and consistency in how customers are treated goes a long way. I truly did not deserve the level of disregard I experienced.

I’ve been to this Waffle House three times now and unfortunately each visit has been during Ms. Sherry’s shift. Every time, the experience has been chaotic and disorganized. She frequently cuts in front of other servers, gives orders to them in a way that feels demanding, and the overall flow in the restaurant gets really hectic when she’s working.

More importantly, my order has been wrong or missing items on all three visits. I understand restaurants get busy and mistakes happen, but when it becomes a pattern it’s frustrating as a customer.

I really enjoy Waffle House and the food here, which is why I keep coming back, but I hope management can address the organization and service issues so the experience matches the quality of the food.

Service date 1/29. Two young guys working the place. Not cleaning. Unresponsive to requests for ordered food items that weren’t delivered, and we had to retrieve our own syrup from behind the counter after asking a half dozen times. Brought over a large glass of milk for a two year old. Do your jobs, and have some damn common sense. If you can’t service the people that come in your door, don’t have an open door. The other location closer to us was closed for dine in service. And if this is all they had to staff it, I can see why.

When I get there it was empty, I asked for hash brown, bacon n 2 eggs medium well n specific I said with “Runny yellow ” they did my plate 3 times n StiiiiiiiiiLL OVER COOKED ,one of the workers with black gloves, GRAB THE EGGES W THOSE GLOVES N REMOVED THEM FROM MY PLATE. Im upset, so I ask for the ticket, at this point they are attending the other n I still waiting FOR THE RIGHT EGGS. I just ask if my plate was less than $20 n they said yes so I just leave a$20 bill and walk away wild I hear the old white lady asking if I paid…. REALLY???

Wanted to get xmas breakfast this morning. Go home and ejnoy. Nope. Im not downloading a dang app so incan order. You already billl me extra to take it to go. Aint that enough. Now your employees are soo lazy they cant take and order to go. Thats ridiculous! Your not fast food and i dont need 50 apps for each and every place.

My son had surgery and saw a waffle sandwich on tik tok. This group went ahead and made it for us. The whole crew Saturday morning on 7/22/23 in the morning was amazing! Also very friendly and made great conversation while still doing their job. I know that most places have a lot of turnaround of employees, but I hope they keep them around! Please share this Google review with your employees it’s important they know when they get good feedback!!
