Went here for the first time,I will not return.Please stay away from Bekey the server. Not polite at allI I said good morning soon as I walked in,she turned her head. I also witness her being mean to another customer. She had her coat over one of the chairs and cell phone on the table, she gave the customer attitude because they were about to sit down.i wanted my bacon well done from the beginning, they put it back on the grill instead of making new bacon. I love coming to this new waffle house. It feels different from the others but it still feels like waffle house. The staff are amazing especially the morning crew. The woman who took this order was an absolute delight. I don’t know if they could tell but I was having a hard morning and the fact that she made my order to a tee and then some… turned my whole morning around. Shout out to this Waffle House. They are doing a stupendous job. 100/10 dam right I recommend.

We had an extremely disappointing experience on Sunday, June 8, 2025, around 6 p.m. at this Waffle House. The server on duty appeared to be under the influence—she seemed disoriented, had difficulty keeping her eyes open, and acted agitated when we asked basic questions about the menu. She was visibly unhappy to serve us, despite the restaurant being nearly empty.
She first brought us the wrong order, then served a waffle that was completely undercooked—literally doughy inside—and placed the plate on our table with clear hostility. Her behavior was unprofessional and made us feel very unwelcome. The entire experience was upsetting and ruined what should have been a simple meal.
I strongly urge the management or owner to monitor staff conduct more closely. Customers deserve respectful service and properly prepared food.

One end by the windows was too cold (AC vent above) for most. Put me and my brother didn’t mind one bit. We got seated quickly. The server was very attentive nice smiling energetic good-looking got everything right. Food came quick, pricing was great (compared to the breakfast served at the hotel we were staying at), food was excellent nice portions, tasty. So extreme value going here (New Port News VA) for breakfast.

The food and atmosphere was great as usual. Today we ran into a newer server. A older white woman. She seemed like she was very busy when it seemed to be the ending of a breakfast rush. No one seemed busy but her. She rushed us through our order. We both ordered the all star breakfast a waffle eggs toast(we never eat)bacon or grits and hashbrown or grits. She brought out the food and forgot the bacon and sausage. While in mid conversation enjoying our food the server came and stood over us and made the comment “that’s a lot of food” my guest was extremely uncomfortable and the comment “I don’t eat all of my food” this made the whole experience UNCOMFORTABLE. My guest didn’t finish her food after this and she didn’t want to take it home either. I won’t be coming here for a while .

Not gonna lie, thought it was going to be hoodish, but the cooks where hustling as well as the waitresses. Cliental, well remember you are not down by the pier and shizz, but it was an atmosphere of blue collar families enjoying food made by blue collar workers!! Clean as well….
