I can’t speak for anyone else I can only attest to my own experience for just a takeout order. I gotta say this place is doing it right. I got a welcome walking right through the door. Great staff great personalities. They were joking around a bit, but I mean it made for an entertaining wait… it’s good to see people enjoying their time at work and it reflects in the service immediately I was happy to place an order with this location my man on the grill whipped that thing up so fast and hot. My head could have spun exactly what I ordered fast friendly. What a great location if it’s not getting it it’s notice it should shout out to this entire staff.

Friendly staff, personable and accommodating. Mommy & Son breakfast stop and we were undecided on what to get; our waitress was comical and reassured us she wasn’t judging, and that she could make us a meal out of anything on their menu! She ain’t lied either lol. Clean atmosphere, affordable and the food was good too.

We visited this Waffle House for breakfast, but our experience was disappointing from start to finish. Waffle House is typically known for its friendly staff, but this location seemed to lack the warm Southern hospitality we expected. When we arrived, the staff did not acknowledge us; they simply stared, offering neither a welcome nor a greeting. After being seated, we waited over ten minutes for someone to take our order, but no one came. Ultimately, we decided to leave without ordering anything. We will not be returning.

It’s the Waffle House. It ain’t no 5 star dining experience that’s for sure. Food was pretty good I liked the waffles but I certainly had better. The cook in the kitchen looked very sloppy and un kept. The booths r small but a booth is better than a table. I would come back but definitely prefer metro diner

My boyfriend and I came here a few weeks ago because we were doing some late night traveling home from a trip and wanted to stop and get a quick bite to eat and this was right on our route home so we stopped by. The food was decent except the waffles weren’t as thick as other waffle houses I’ve been to and also didn’t have the signature Waffle House logo on the waffle. The service was great though we would definitely come back again in the future.

I went in today 1/5/2026 this was my first time coming to the Middletown Waffle House. When I went in the staff were friendly and took care of me I ordered a bacon melt with hashbrown. The cook was quick and I started eating I ate my sandwich which was decent then started on the hashbrown I had gotten about halfway when I seen a ROACH in the food I put my silverware down took the check and immediately left, never will I go back! I appreciate the kindness of the staff but I was sick to my stomach seeing that.

Food and staff were very nice and food was good. Only gripe is if your waitress is going outside to smoke pot and stink up the front of the restaurant outside tell her to walk across the street and not come back in acting loud and have trouble understanding what your coworkers are telling you and instead listening to your music on your AirPod. She also smelled like pot and she blew out the smoke in the foyer between the 2 doors leaving it smelling like pot.

Stopped in for breakfast and it was a mess from start to finish. The food came out at all different times, and one order was completely forgotten. The cooks clearly didn’t know what they were doing. The water tasted bad, the Coke was out, and the waiter couldn’t stay focused long enough to get things right. This Waffle House needs serious training and better management.
