We are long time fans of W Wallace and what they have created in this space. The food is absolutely appetizing with thoughtful and delicious specials. The drink menu is divine the wine selection is superb for Salem. But the true magic here is with the staff. Especially Vera. She is the crystal ball of this magical little space: her inviting personality and ability to connect with her guest leaves you wanting to come back. She is such a matriarchal role in this establishment, her conversation, pertly and enthusiasm will have you coming back time and time again. Thank you to w Wallace for creating this space to come and enjoy salem downtown and with class and style.

Our second time in the last few weeks to visit W. Wallace. We like the vibe and intimate atmosphere of this local pub. Service is always great and they have an awesome drink menu. The chef turns out some very tasty meals as well. Last time I had the street tacos along with chips and salsa (both excellent) this visit we went with the Rodeo Burger. This is a nice take on your standard burger, very tasty and filling. My wife also had one of the current specialty drinks which she really enjoyed. I ordered a Moscow Mule, and an Espresso Martini, both were well prepared. All in all a very good experience.

Jack fruit tacos? Oh yeah!! What a delight and a surprise to find these delicious tacos on the menu!! They were amazing and had a really nice chipotle aioli to had a little heat. We also had a couple of salads and their house dressing was really tasty too! This restaurant is small in size but mighty in heart and taste! Great service and vibe. The outdoor dining area is beautiful!!

Recently, I dined @wwallacebar, and the food, service, and overall experience were fantastic. Located in a turn~of~the~century building in downtown historic Salem, the owners have done a wonderful job with their craft drinks and delicious menu.
We had fried Cod fish tacos served with picked onions and a sriracha sauce. We also had the roasted Brussel sprouts mixed with sweet potato and brie cheese.

I found myself at W. Wallace after walking around downtown Salem on Saturday. I can definitely say I am happy I did!! Amazing food delicious drinks and friendly staff. Great place to relax with a drink and eat good food!

This place was truly a delight to visit. The cocktails were very good and the presentation matched the taste. It wasn’t too busy and there was plenty of seating even though the space was small. I also got an order of the baja fish tacos which were delicious! I would definitely go back.

The atmosphere was great! Very pricey but delicious entrées and cocktail. The appetizer of lettuce wraps (pictured) was way over priced at $12 for only two “wraps” with pre-shredded unmelted cheese, small amount of red onion and BBQ chicken on top of green leaf lettuce. Fresh shredded cheese would have really made all the difference. I really enjoyed the Marionberry Martini but at $14 it was over priced. Especially when their online menu says it is $11. I think $11 or even $12 for a cocktail is very fair but $14 is way over priced. I got two cocktails and I would likely have had 3 or 4 if the price was more reasonable. The entrées were fantastic and I think priced well for the quality. I really enjoyed the rockfish with Alfredo and my husband enjoyed the steak. Service was a bit slow and we had empty drinks for quite sometime. Overall it was a good experience and we would go back.

Now, we’ve only tried the house burger, the fries, the pork tacos, the margaritas, and a few other drinks, but they all get 10/10 each time. The owners take great pride in making sure you get top notch, hand crafted food and drink, and excellent service.
This is such a great place to hang out in as well. The vibe is cool and relaxing especially being in a historic building. If you are a real foodie, give this place a try! You won’t be disappointed.

We really liked this place. Great ambiance with the brick wall and long bar. The service was prompt and friendly. The cocktails were tasty. We had the fish tacos and the chicken Caesar salad. Both very nicely prepared. We look forward to coming back soon for some of the larger entrees.
