Vulcania in Mammoth Lakes is absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, Sosa, Cam, Zoey, and Jasmine delivered truly superb customer service — warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout the entire experience.
We were seated at the bar, and even though it was busy, the wait was surprisingly short. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, with music that perfectly set a fun, vibey tone for the evening.
The Italian wine selection was fantastic — smooth, elegant, and the perfect complement to the meal. Every dish was outstanding, especially the beef carpaccio and the panna cotta for dessert. The food was beautifully prepared and full of flavor.
If you’re in Mammoth Lakes, Vulcania is an absolute must-visit. An amazing dining experience from start to finish!

Came for dinner last night. We didn’t have a reservation so they said only bar seating was available if we could find a spot. We did. The bartender was great. Food was delicious. Ordered the Funghi pizza and Chicken Parmigiana. Enjoyed our dinner.

When you want over price pasta and poor service cone here. Had three dishes the food was good but not worth the price. Had two pasta dishes and the chicken parm.
When asked the waitress, Molly, for recommendation of dishes she got visibly upset and frustrated. Told us to take our time and she would come back. This continued for drink service had to ask for refills. Never asked if we wanted another cocktail.

I am uncomfortably full and it is my own fault. Because everything was so good! The service was friendly and on point despite the crowds. Our server, Soza (sp?), was personable, prompt, and impressive at the bar. We had the orechitette nero and the salmon piccata.

The best food I have had from a restaurant up in Mammoth. Sure it can be a bit slow when it’s packed, but our server Sam was super chill.
Vibe was cool inside. Best risotto I’ve ever had. Of course a little pricy, but again, the best food I’ve had up here. Would reccomend

I was hesitant to try this place based on the reviews, but decided based of the pictures that it was worth a shot. We were not disappointed. We vistied twice while were there for the month in the summer and the food and the service were excellent. You can tell everything is fresh and creatively made. The chicken parmesan and the cheese ravioli were the group favs. The Paloma was the best I’ve ever had. Both times the service was great! Especially the bartender that served us at lunch the second time. I didn’t catch her name, but she was very friendly and attentive. The best meal we had in town.

Had such a yummy dinner here while in Mammoth. And though everything was extremely filling, the food didn’t leave us feeling miserable. The ingredents feel fresh with a lot of pastas and breads made in house. The plates are carefully thought out, and mix ingredients I would never think would taste so well when paired. Thank you for the wonderful food, drinks, service (also great music/playlist).

We had an amazing dinner at Vulcania tonight. Our server, Juliet, was delightful. The food was stellar. We had the Caesar, caprese, rigatoni, ravioli, and tiramisu. Everything was fantastic, though if I had to pick a favorite it would be the ravioli. I don’t understand the bad reviews. They weren’t overly talkative at the hostess stand but they are also trying to move a lot of people and not keep folks waiting. I though everyone was professional and polite, and our sever and the guy who sat us were really nice and friendly. Overall, I think it is doing the Voltagio’s proud!

Enjoyed dinner at Vulcania. Overall decent dinner but not memorable. Italian wedge was pretty plain and bit too much dressing. The calamari was well seasoned and tasted good but certain pieces were soggy inside. The pasta was good but not memorable. We did see many people getting the pizza so maybe that is better?
