I really love this place!! Every time I come here the food is consistent and amazing! I love my bartenders Blake and Shaq. They really make sure I’m always good and my drinks are refilled. They always seem to be happy when I’m here and I love that. Also the managers journey and jimmy are so helpful and nice. They run a great establishment here don’t walk but run to voodoo now ……

However, the oysters were a problem. The charbroiled oysters had a slimy texture that didn’t match their appearance, and while the flavor was acceptable, the consistency was off. The Oyster Fest oysters were even more concerning—grainy, overly briny, and uncomfortably slimy, as if they hadn’t been cleaned or handled properly.
The real issue came afterward. The next morning, both my friend and I woke up feeling seriously ill. We experienced nausea, chills, stomach pain, and vomiting throughout the day. Given that oysters were the only shared item we ate, the connection is hard to ignore.
I appreciate the strong service and good vibe, but the food safety concerns overshadowed everything else. This was not a minor reaction—it was a full day of being sick. I hope the restaurant reviews their handling of oysters to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

Had one of the best experiences ever sitting at the bar with my bartender blaik. She was very attentive and left me with great recommendations when it came with the food. Celeste @ Voodoo Crab made our visit a great experience! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun, but what truly made our visit stand out was Celeste. She was absolutely fantastic!!!!
For only being at the establishment for two months, she is doing an incredible job. She goes above and beyond for her customers and genuinely cares about making sure you have a great experience. That kind of service makes all the difference.

We had our son’s confirmation lunch at Voodoo Crab in Rockville Centre, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. With guests visiting from out of state, we wanted something memorable—and Voodoo Crab truly delivered. My husband’s family is from south Louisiana, so they know their seafood boils, and they absolutely loved this place. The food was fresh, flavorful, and fun to share, and everyone raved about it. The service was excellent, and a special thank you to assistant manager Jimmy, who was incredibly attentive and communicative both before and during our lunch. He made sure everything went smoothly and helped make the day feel extra special. Great food, great service, and a perfect spot for a celebration. Highly recommend!
