We had a couple of sushi and then some basil fried rice. Everything looked good, but the sushi was a bit dry, probably because it was late Sunday evening. There weren’t many people, but we think the weekdays and weekends are probably the best days to visit this place. Overall, I had a good experience, affordable and the food was delicious. Thanks!

Nothing like authentic Ramen on a cold day! 5 stars on everything. Great service, great food, nice restaurant. I visit the area once a month on business so I am casually making my way around to different places to eat and Volcano was my choice of the day. While it was not crowded, I enjoyed the peacefulness of eating and being served by employees that are proud to share, make customers happy and give reason to return. Thanks, Miko!

A nice comfortable sushi place. The food was really good but what surprised me more was the staffs attentiveness. Typically being a single diner is a nightmare and most places tend to give you the cold shoulder or allow other groups that are larger to be served before you. That was not the case here. My server Sudi was a very kind server who moved very quickly and efficiently while serving multiple tables but still coming around to check on me. All in all a wonderful experience and I will be back.

Family Friendly!!! Tuesday nights 1/2 off sushi rolls! Quality of service unbeatable! My young child enjoyed the edamame, fried rice with egg on side, and plain miso soup (broth). I enjoyed the A.C.C. Roll, Fuji Mountain Roll, house salad, and loaded miso soup. Aliya was our server and despite being quite busy with a section full of families with young children, she was graceful, polite, punctual, and professional! We will be back.

When I say I don’t eat everywhere, but this place right here was the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining at. The food was so fresh, and everything about it was simply exceptional. There isn’t a single restaurant that can even come close to matching the quality of their cuisine. I wish I could give them a perfect 10 out of 10. I can’t wait to return the hour drive was absolutely worth it. Last but not least, the customer service was top-notch. Our waiter did an amazing job and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Unlike some restaurants, he didn’t have to be reminded to check on us.

Extremely disappointing experience.
We visited while on a work trip and attempted to use gift cards that were specifically branded with the same name and logo as this restaurant. The gift cards were also listed on Go Local as being accepted at this exact location. The signage inside the restaurant — along with the shirts worn by both the manager and staff — displayed the same branding shown on the gift cards.
When we went to pay, the server took the cards with no issue, then returned after several minutes claiming, “We can’t use these here.” Also brought up “you need to tip another way too”. When I asked why, he became argumentative and said he’d get the manager. At this point, we had already waited at least 15 minutes just to close out, despite needing to leave for a work meeting.
The manager arrived and was rude, dismissive, and insisted the gift cards were only valid at another location “down the street,” even though he was literally wearing the exact same logo and name printed on the cards. He then ran my personal card for the full bill without offering any alternative.
Only after charging me did another employee approach and say they could try running the gift cards a different way — proving there was another option from the start. When I asked how they planned to do that after already charging my card, I was told I would have to wait for an unknown amount of time for a refund before they could even attempt to process the gift cards. We were already late for our meeting at this point and had no choice but to leave.
The entire situation was handled unprofessionally. The service was slow and inattentive from the beginning, and both the manager and staff showed a complete lack of customer service or accountability. This was unacceptable from start to finish.

This is our go-to spot for sushi! The team is top notch, and they get you back as quickly as possible! We love coming on Tuesdays for the sushi deal! The price and the amount of sushi you get on Tuesdays, you can’t beat it! Highly recommend!

On 12/29/25, my family and I encountered by far the worst experience ever. We came in to celebrate my sons birthday, and I hate that I ever entered this business. There were very few people there. However, we were asked to sit in the rear of the restaurant near the restroom. The waitress didn’t offer us soup or salad like she did everyone else. When I questioned this, she advised that it was not included in the dinner menu and was extra. And she never offered it to us. What was strange is that others were provided these services without being asked. She only brought one cup of water to our table and I had a party of 4. She didn’t refill our drinks but placed a pitcher on our table of what we were drinking and walked away to service other people. The food itself was ok but I felt we were treated indifferently because we were the only ones there who were African American. I will never go there again because too many things occurred that proved that I’m not just pulling the race card. The way she served us versus the way she served everyone else was way different. Had I not Ubered there, we would have walked out just like the other couple did who saw how they were being treated as well. I’ll pay for quality and even give more when the service is worth it. But this experience made me not want to even pay for my meal but I did and that was it. She (the waitress) had the audacity to stop us as we were leaving out to ask why we didn’t tip her and I advised to her it was due to poor service. So be mindful of this place when you go there and just fully observe your surroundings prior to staying in rooms where you’re not accepted in.
