I normally go to the one in Norman and I happen to be in the area close to this one. It was just as wonderful as expected. This is my first time here, but they said they’ve done a remodel and the place looks absolutely beautiful.. and the food as always amazing!!!

Service was great, food was meh. Fish didn’t taste fresh and spicy tuna had too much panko filler. The wasabi was hard and dry, didn’t mix with soy and kept clumping on my rolls to give an extra punch in the nose. The prices were in line with the level of food quality. Inexpensive. I love fresh sushi so I won’t be back. Sat at the sushi bar. It was dirty and they had empty dishes waiting to be bussed the entire time we were there. The bathrooms were atrocious. Toilet seat was so loose I almost fell off.

My husband and I shared a sushi roll (lucky lady) and it was delicious! We got separate hibachi meals. We could had easily shared a meal. Sooooo much food. We both got steak and it was so good. The veggies were cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Great service also. Will be back!

Sushi was really good fresh, flavorful, and came out fast. The restaurant has a great setup with a bar, booths, and tables, giving it a more intimate vibe while still being welcoming for families. We had a reservation and I’m glad we did because the place was pretty busy. My girlfriend was very satisfied, which says a lot. Overall, great atmosphere, great food, and well worth the visit.

This place has really good sushi! I love the fact that the menu has pictures of each sushi Roll so I know what it looks like before ordering! Also they have a large menu with so many options so you will definitely need to come back and try more! Not to mention the pricing of the rolls perfect!!
CUSTOMER SERVICE: I had great customer service but of course if you go during lunch time it’s busy and they only seem to have 1 server on most of the tables, so it’s a little slower in getting what you need, but still pretty good service
TASTE: The taste was great. Everything was the temperature it should be and flavor was good
COST: Priced perfectly
ADDITIONAL: I just wish the shrimp vein was cleaned before rolling but that’s me just being picky! I would definitely be back!

This was an amazing lunch! My wife who refuses to eat sushi decided she’d join me for lunch. I get it not everyone has to like sushi. I’ve told her time & again there is more to choose from and she needs to give it a try.
One thing I know she likes is the Edamame and we got that as an appetizer. Quite rnjoyable
We’ve reached common ground! The Hibachi is the way to go so I decided that we would order similar lunches. First I had to order my favorite – Ikura. AKA Fish Eggs, absolutely delicious. Every time I eat sushi this the one item that I have to order.
I ordered the Seafood Hibachi with Salmon, Shrimp & Scallops which were very good! My wife opted for the Shrimp Hibachi – she thoroughly enjoyed.
The service was spot on and she was very efficient. Our server Skye was delightful and she handled our order & drinks efficiently. The restaurant was very clean and was an inviting place to enjoy lunch. The patio would have been a nice option to dine outside but the heat was just unbearable!
I world recommend this as a great place to have lunch dinner or even drinks / appetizers. I have a feeling this will become a regular spot in my dining rotation.

Update: I’ve already spoken to the manager twice and she was extremely rude and did not care. Four days later and still waiting on my refund. The fake comment from your establishment is unwarranted.
Waste of money. This is a $18 lunch portion. 3 bites of noodles and a little bit of protein and a small side salad of lettuce and dressing. Took it back into a hateful manager telling me that is what you get without vegetables. How does having the vegetables dictate whether you get a decent portion of noodles and protein in your order?! Used to eat here often but will not be back. Service is horrible.

Flip Out
Little and Littlest Flip Out hadn’t had Japanese food that we could recall, so Volcano was perfect to introduce them to something new. I had the hibachi steak and chicken, which came with noodles, rice, a side salad, and choice of soup. I enjoyed it and there were definitely leftovers. Mrs. Flip Out had an asparagus roll and a Golden Fantasy roll, and she loved both. We also ordered Tatsuta Age and it was delicious as well. Very generous portions of everything and you will likely have leftovers. Service was attentive and accommodating. Give it a try if you’re in the area!

My wife and I come here almost every Friday to get our Bento Box fix! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! I was just here last Saturday and brought my neighbor today and she loved it!! The clear soup is so good if I could take it as an IV that would be fantastic!!! Staff and management is ALWAYS top notch! If I can buy the clear soup by the gallon PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! The Shrimp Shumai is outstanding! Word on the streets is that the world record for most Shumai eaten in two minutes is 30 so with how good these are I’ll see you guys again soon to break that record!!!! Thanks Volcano for always being solid! You’ll have my business until I die!!
