Robinson Street Volcano Sushi Bar & Hibachi has officially become one of those places I keep coming back to—and this was visit #3 for a reason. The food is consistently wow every single time.
And here’s the best part: I’ve also eaten at the Moore, OK location, and the quality is just as consistent there too. Same great flavors, same attention to detail—no drop-off.
Yes, the sushi is always the star—fresh, clean, and beautifully put together—but on this cold, chilly day I switched it up and ordered the Nabeyaki Udon Soup and the Ika Gaso (deep-fried calamari legs)… and I’m glad I did.
That udon is comfort food done right: a deep, rich broth with plenty of chicken, vegetables, and noodles—hot, hearty, and exactly what you want when the weather turns. And the calamari legs? Crispy, flavorful, and addictive—the kind of appetizer that disappears fast.
What really seals it is the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which makes the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable.

This was my second time to come to Volcanoes and the sushi is amazing every time I come here! My daughter and I love the gyozas, Double crunch and the Lucky Lady and the Bonzai. Soo yum! We also tried the Rock and Roll one this time. Soo good! The sushi was served in a Bamboo boat which was also super fun! Our food server was very friendly and we left with happy, full tummies again. Looking forward to our next visit!

Honestly I loved the prices and the place itself was very cute. It’s just a bummer since I found a bone in my eel sushi. They were also super busy when we went (around 12:30PM), so it stinks but they were not very attentive. Not their fault though.

We love dining in here and have been as a friend group for awhile. Place could use a deep clean but their food is always really good and they have a large selection on their menu. They also have patio seating when the weather is nice.

Food was perfect, even with the fish eggs forgotten on the rolls, but the service left room for desire. The host was on a video call of some sorts when we came in so she had to ask us 4 times how many people we had, all while still going back to talk to the person on her phone. Like it’s 4 o clock at a restaurant and workers can just not work? The server just came to the stand and got us. Server checked on us a couple of times but other than that was extremely emotionless and kept on looking at us funny. The inside is also clearly not as friendly for a dine in spot as the location in moore is and the only TV was just playing some Spanish news where there were half naked men working out the whole time.

Sushi was great! High quality ingredients. Service is terrible. A little disappointed with how great the service and food is at other locations. I was expecting the same experience.
They had a lot of 2 groups seated at family tables and booths. We came for a table of 5 and had to sit outside.
Our waitress got our waters quick and after that. Wow. It took about 20-25min to see her again and order. We got here at 6:15. Didn’t get our food until 7:35pm. She kept forgetting about us, I’m pretty sure she forgot to put in our order. Half way through waiting, she stepped outside, saw us, eyes wide open, made a sound, and went back in.
Other people who were seated after us got their food before us too.
Not sure if I’ll be back to this location. I hope others have a better time!

We were both very happy with the quality and quantity of food. We both ordered off the hibachi menu. This was my husband’s first time eating Japanese, he was definitely impressed. We will be going back soon.
