The sushi was flavorful and well-balanced, and the steak was cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. You can tell they take pride in their food and the experience they provide.
This is a great spot whether you’re coming for a casual meal, date night, or just craving good sushi and hibachi-style dishes. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend checking them out.
I never had Fried Rice where it was completely seasoned without needing yum yum sauce.
The experience, the ambiance, the food. 10/10 highly recommend.

Unfortunately, the service felt uncomfortable from the beginning. I asked if they had a non-alcoholic piña colada and was simply told no, without being offered any alternatives. After that, our server repeatedly pressured us to order quickly, returning every few minutes to ask if we were ready, without giving us enough time to review the menu comfortably. I am currently pregnant, so I needed to make sure I was choosing cooked sushi options.
My food arrived very quickly (about 5 minutes after ordering), which made me question how fresh it was. Meanwhile, my husband’s meal did not arrive until at least 10 minutes later. It is not pleasant when one dish is brought out while the other person has to wait; we prefer to eat together.
Additionally, while I still had food on my plate, we were brought the check without being asked if we wanted to order anything else.
Overall, the experience felt rushed and lacking empathy. The food was acceptable, but not memorable enough to make up for the poor service. It was disappointing, especially since we were hoping to enjoy a special occasion in a relaxed atmosphere.
The facility is aged and unimpressive.
Had it been good quality and taste, it would have been a decent value, but at $33 a person on average, and such low quality food, we will not be visiting again.
The food was the highlight, with fresh, artfully crafted sushi and perfectly cooked, juicy steak. The variety of sushi rolls catered to different tastes, and the steak was complemented by delicious sauces and sides.
However, the portion sizes were smaller than expected, especially considering the prices. While the quality of the food was excellent, slightly larger servings would enhance the overall value and satisfaction.
Despite this, I highly recommend Volcano Steak and Sushi for its excellent ingredients, skilled preparation, and great service. With a bit more generous portions, it would easily reach five-star status.
