We had a wonderful family lunch at Volcano Hot Pot on International Drive in Orlando. The food was delicious, and the variety was incredible—fresh noodles, veggies, dumplings, meats, and all the hot pot toppings you can imagine. The broth was full of flavor, and everything tasted amazing. A fun and tasty experience for the whole family.

I’ve been wanting to try Hot Pot for quite some time. We got there right when they opened, so we were seated right away. There was a robot that showed us to our table (innovation always impresses me) and a human waitress was there to greet us. She was very thorough in her explanation of how things worked and very helpful with choosing the seasonings. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would go back again. My only negative was I had problems mixing my seasonings.

What a great spot! The original soup hot pot is delicious with some sesame oil and soy sauce. Great selection of the vegetables, meat and fish. Wonderful staff, friendly and attentive. Will absolutely come back next time I am in Orlando. Thank you!

Food is great.
Typical KBBQ and Hot Pot AYCE.

If you have an alternative look, visible tattoos, just came from the theme parks, or are not East-Asian looking, please prepared to not be treated or taken seriously. You could be better off having a white person or somebody who looks like they just left a business meeting make the reservation. Have said person be the one to greet the host because the staff and management are trained to dismiss anyone who doesn’t look like them or appeal to their standard. ———-

This was not during a high dinner rush.
I was not rude.
I was not demanding.
I kindly requested how long was the wait for 7 people to 1 table?
I was told 7 people cannot be accommodated to 1 table so my party and I were split in 2 tables across from each other while a room of tables behind the sauce bar for parties of 8 were EMPTY.

Personally, I would’ve rated our dinner a 3 star experience, but that comes from a fundamental misunderstanding of what we were walking into. The food tasted just fine, and our server was very nice.

For anyone used to KPot or other similar restaurants, here are some facts to help you avoid our issues:

– This Volcano heavily favors hot pot over barbecue. Out of 4 buffet lines, less than 1 station featured BBQ proteins. The rest was all hot pot, aside from the last station which was half condiments, half desserts. (If you eat fruits for dessert, on this night we only saw grapes and oranges.)
– Grill pans aren’t changed out here, but you are provided a stack of foil squares that you can butter and change out yourself. (We still had trouble with the foil squares being small and sticking to the meat as we tried to flip and cook.)
– This is so randomly specific, but the bartender said the Tiger Latte milk tea was a brown sugar milk tea. According to my friend, the Tiger Latte was an inverse ratio of what that kind of drink is normally? So theirs was straight white milk, boba, and stripes of brown sugar syrup on the cup…

All in all, if you’re used to Volcano, it’s probably wonderful.

We had an incredible dining experience at Volcano Hot Pot & BBQ on I-Drive! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and ready to help us with everything. The restaurant was clean, modern, and had a great atmosphere — lively but comfortable at the same time.

The variety of food was amazing! The buffet had so many fresh ingredients to choose from — seafood, meats, vegetables, noodles, and sauces. Everything was very fresh and delicious. We loved being able to cook our own food right at the table — it’s such a fun and interactive experience!

The service was excellent — our server checked on us often, refilled drinks quickly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or family.

If you love hot pot or Korean BBQ (or both!), this place is a must-try in Orlando. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants great food, great service, and a fun dining experience!

The best part about this place? You can eat hot pot and BBQ like a hungry dragon, and still walk out smelling fresh—no one will ever guess you just destroyed an all-you-can-eat feast.
The hot pot broth is so tasty it could cure a broken heart, and the BBQ is so juicy I almost proposed to the grill. Service is fast, friendly, and they don’t judge how many plates you order (thankfully).
10/10 would eat again. My stomach is full, my clothes are clean, and my dignity… well, that’s gone, but it was worth it.

Volcano Hot Pot is our favorite spot for dinner. The food is always fresh, and there’s plenty of seafood to choose from. The meats are great quality too, and there are so many vegetables you can pick to make your hot pot just how you like it. My go-to is their yum yum special sauce — I get it every time and it never disappoints. If you love hot pot with lots of options, this place is a must!

I have had the pleasure of trying many different Korean BBQ and Hot Pot locations. Volcano Hot Pot is excellent!

Our server was highly attentive and filled out drinks, cleared our plates, and even gave good tips on sauces and cooking the meats and sides!

Definitely will be back again! The quality of the food was excellent and the beverages were very tasty. When we went it wasn’t crowded and we felt no pressure to hurry up and leave.

Cannot wait to return!
