First off, the pizza was outstanding. Perfect crust, great flavor, zero regrets. But what really threw me off was the service.
How does a pizza place manage to hire such polite, upbeat, genuinely helpful employees? The staff was so friendly I honestly had to double-check I was still in Washington County. I thought grumpy was part of the local uniform.
Whoever is doing the hiring deserves a raise… and then should immediately turn around and give the staff one too. They’re clearly the secret ingredient.
Great job all around. I’ll be back.
The pizza arrived stone cold, the crust was so hard it was like chewing on cardboard, and the Pepsi was completely flat — not “lost some fizz,” but 100% dead, like it had been sitting open all day. This entire order felt old, neglected, and thrown together with zero care.
And let’s talk about the price. This was not cheap pizza, yet what I received was borderline inedible. If you’re charging premium prices, the absolute minimum expectation is hot, fresh food. That bar was not just missed — it was buried underground.
I called the store to give them an opportunity to fix their mistake, and instead of taking accountability, the best they could offer was “credits toward future food.” Why would anyone want credits to reorder after an experience this bad? When I reasonably asked for a refund or remake, I was told to “call back Monday and talk to the district manager,” which felt like a clear attempt to pass the problem off and hope I’d give up.
This wasn’t a picky customer issue. This wasn’t a preference thing.
This was cold food, poor quality, flat drinks, and terrible customer service all wrapped into one experience.
Save yourself the frustration, the hunger, and the wasted money. There are plenty of pizza places in Washington, PA that actually care about what they send out. This is not one of them.
Service was fast, friendly, and helpful.
Didn’t feel rushed to order. Not far off the highway.
When I called the store, the employee was rude, blamed me for entering the wrong info, and even said I “wasn’t getting anything free.” I never asked for anything free — I just wanted my food and to file a complaint.
This was a terrible experience. My order should have been refunded, but instead I was disrespected. I will not be ordering from here again. My money (and my grandson’s love for pizza) will be going to Papa John’s — better food, and better service.
I recommend ordering online for pickup & take out to avoid having to wait for your food.
