My wife and I visited for the first time. We were immediately greeted when we walked in the door. We sat at the bar and the bartender acknowledged us right away. We ordered the Italian Pork (best in the area, by far), French onion soup (very well made), fried pickles (my wife said were amazing) and French fries (crisp and not greasy). We had their local spiced rum and tequila and it rivaled Captain and Titos. In conclusion, great food, great atmosphere and amazing staff. This will be a new regular for us. Thank you VK Brewing for an fantastic experience.

We’ve been coming weekly to the family fun center and VK since July while we are on travel for work. My last visit in Nov I gave a card as a hold to start a tab. When we settled the bill I requested that card be voided and paid cash and another form of payment and was assured the initial hold was voided. I watched the transaction with my credit union turn pending to posted and never received a refund or credit back. Back home 4 hours away it took 9 phone calls between management and GM to basically leave it with they had to get with ownership and contact me back. That was 2 weeks ago, not one time during this situation was I followed up with or updated as promised. While back in town yesterday I visited and asked for an update and was provided an offer of a picture that the ownership has of the transaction being voided on there end. That does me no good as provided to the manager on duty my bank app showing NO REFUND. There is clearly an issue with the merchants card processing service yet the consumer has been tasked to continue to chase my tale over there issue. Poor accountability, follow up, and just ultimately disappointing.

Gotta say, quite surprised by the 5 star reviews. Been there twice and service was horrible and the food not so great. Was excited to have another micro place in the area as we are so limited; however, unlikely to return for anything other than a beer at the bar. It was 5pm on a Thursday night, virtually empty, but service was slow, server forgot to order a pizza, ordered a salad wrong, and everything came out slow. Woulda ordered another beer but didn’t want to have to flag down the server and wait 20 minutes. We concluded it may be poor management, lack of training, but with bartenders standing around there’s no reason to have to wait for everything so long. Don’t plan on going back anytime soon. With that being said, beer is excellent. I have visited the Exton location (earlier this week as a matter of fact) and it was excellent. Hopefully this feedback helps them improve because I want to see the place succeed, big supporter of local businesses.

Industry veteran and extremely surprised by these 5 star reviews. Wait staff is uninterested, lacks awareness, and seems annoyed to actually do their job. Waited 10 minutes for beers, no silverware or napkins brought, server walks past table multiple times and doesn’t even acknowledge the table. VK should be ashamed to have their name on this place. 2 stars because the kids that are running the food have more hustle than the servers.
