SANDWICHES ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS!! MY SON LOVES THIS PLACE AND IT WAS MY FIRST VISIT! I CHOSE BUFFALO CHICKEN PARM(HIS FAVE) AND HE FINALLY TRIED THE SPICY MEATBALL PEP AND THEY ARE BOTH INCREDIBLE!!!! I DON’T THINK YOU CAN MAKE A BAD CHOICE.

An amazing sandwich. This one is the spicy joe. I could immediately tell it was a family ran business. The guys were very friendly and helpful. I am embarrassed to say I ate that whole thing in less than 10 minutes. You might have to wait in line for a few minutes, but very much worth the wait! They keep it moving fast! And dang just look at that picture….you want to go get some now don’t you?

I had an appointment in the area yesterday and stopped in for lunch to give them a try. They’ve been very hyped on the Sandwich Connoisseurs of St. Louis Facebook page, and I’ve been wanting to stop in for awhile now.
Oh. My. Goodness! I tried the Spicy Chicken Parm and it was out of this world good! I don’t know how they dream up the flavor combinations, but everything from the bread to the condiments to the meat was fresh and delicious! They pull the cheese and meat from a cooler behind them and slice is fresh in front of you. Toss in a side of excellent customer service, and you have a home run of a sandwich shop.
I took my order to go and ate it in the sun on a picnic table at a nearby park. I had a slight sense of sadness as I finished my last bite, realizing that I won’t taste exquisite flavors like this again until the next time I’m in the area. It’s was truly a perfect sandwich.

Just to be fair, I can’t say after my very first visit that this is my #1 sandwich shop in St. Louis, but if it’s any indication after my first sandwich from there, it’s in the running going forward. The classic Italian was fantastic. Told the guy behind the counter to make it as he thinks it should be done.
Ordered to go and made the 20 minute trip back home. Added the lobster bisque which you have to try, and of course did a little dip-sy do for a few bites. Sandwich flavors and Italian dressing got to mingle together for the ride home and the cheese crusty bread held up nicely. Look at this sandwich!

Man, this looks place brings you to a different stratosphere of flavors. My Sandwich was spicy, salty, crunchy, sweet, savory and Smokey all in one! The sauce to dip was top notch and the cheese bread addition is definitely where it’s at. The basic chocolate chip cookies were even tasty. Worth every penny and anyone who says differently is cheap. The portion sizes are astronomical. I recommend this place 10/10 times and can not wait to go back to try more!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Every sandwich is a culinary masterpiece. The lobster bisque is top notch. Family owned and operated by some of the nicest people in the city. I can tell I’m going to be a regular here.

I come to St Louis for business severe times a year. Always trying local places instead of chain restaurants. I’ve gotta say this is in my top 3 sandwich shops of all time, worldwide! I had a Joe’s Spicy Italian and they put their pastrami on top too. Got a bowl of lobster bisque too. Needless to say I kept half the sandwich for lunch the next day. Yes it’s $18 per sandwich but SOOO worth it! I went back today to get a Pastrami Ruben and “cup” of Lobster Bisque. I’m having the other half for dinner. Just crazy awesome sandwich’s and the owners/staff are genuine and awesome.
If you are coming to St Louis, this is a MUST! You won’t be disappointed. I just wish there were more than 5-stars to give!
