Food was just okay. Nothing that said oh wow I definitely need to come back. The build your own bowl wasn’t $14 worth. The chicken and waffle was juat okay. Service was ok. Our waitress stayed two tables back talking to a customer for more than half our visit. She didn’t come back to check on us or offer more coffee until she could tell we were ready for a check. $40 for two breakfast meals and two coffees seems a bit steep. Disappointed for a first visit.

Found this hidden gem in Fishhawk. Atmosphere is welcoming. Harry the manager greeted us with a smile and was absolutely pleasant. The food was amazing.. everything ordered was flavorful with big portions served.. we ate every bite,definitely coming back! Oh, and they have Mimosas!!

I was just introduced to this place by a good friend of mine (Thanks Josh ) and I’m sure happy I tried it out. I’ll definitely be coming back for more. I’ll probably end up trying The Kitchen Sink Omelette. My son had it and it looked really tasty.
I like that you can choose from either Lunch options or Breakfast options. I gotta watch what I eat and go easy on sugar, but I’ll definitely add the Cinnamon Roll French Toast to my list for next time around

Went over the weekend and it was really good nice little home town feeling breakfast. server was nice and prices where fair for breakfast places these days. Food came out extremely fast I’m talking like less then 5 min which was scary, noticed all tables where this fast.
Pancakes where nice and fluffy, Hollanders sauce was good. Nothing to complain about.
Only thing was the avocado said $1 on the menu and the bill it said $1.89 but I understand your not gonna make new menus for that little thing but it would of been nice for the server to mention it.

The location, the parking, the decor, the staff, and the service was all excellent. Most importantly the food was DELICIOUS. We’ve been living here in the area for quite some time now and honestly have been skipping over The Scrambled Egg because of Yelp reviews. But today, we were craving some brunch and decided to give it a shot. And I’m so glad we did, I ended up getting the Chicken & Waffles and my wife got a green flatbread, not exactly sure the name. Both were delicious with the chicken being nice and crispy and the waffle at the right consistency it was very satisfying. If you want to be a bit healthier, the flatbread was also very good and I highly recommend both. Also if you like cheese and potatoes, make sure to get the Hashbrown Casserole for your side, so so good. Overall we loved this place and am pretty sad we didn’t come sooner, darn Yelp reviews. Also, if you live in Fishhawk, it’s right outside your door! I highly recommend The Scrambled Egg and we’ll definitely be coming back!

The restaurant is dog friendly. They staff is very nice and will give them a dog bowl for water. Chicken and waffles were tasty but the chicken was a little dry. The breakfast wrap was delicious with the hash town casserole

Update 6 months later: I’m adding another two favorites: the French toast, and the service. The French toast is EXCELLENT! Usually restaurants make their French toast too soggy, too eggy, or bland. The French toast here is fluffy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. My only regret is not getting a second serving My other favorite, the servers, they’re just so nice and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel like you’re their only customer. And of course I had to get the hash brown casserole, this time an extra order to have at home. I just love coming here!
Update one year later: This place continues to provide excellent food with excellent service. I bumped up my stars to 5 because they deserve it. My favorite is still the hash brown casserole. It’s a must when I visit! And now they’re offering BOGO mimosas… Yes please

The biscuits and gravy were very tasty, but the bourbon bacon was a bit spicier than expected. The pancakes were ok, not a lot of flavor, but the French toast was packed with flavor. My favorite out of everything was their hash brown casserole. I got enough to bring home to enjoy again!
