Vivo at Universal CityWalk is absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting perfect for a relaxing break from a busy day at the parks. The food was incredible. We tried the linguine with clams, spaghetti Bolognese, Caesar salad, and calamari, and every single dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.
For an extra special experience, you absolutely must ask for Jay. He’s phenomenal and will make your dinner even more delightful with his attentive, friendly service.
If you’re visiting Universal and need a great break from the crowds, Vivo is the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy amazing Italian food, and recharge before heading back into the fun. Highly recommend!

One of the nicest restaurants at the City Walk. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a clean and open feel. Service is friendly and prompt. Easy to talk with just moderate noise. Comfortable and casual but with up scale dining choices and prices. The bread is served warm and it’s delightful. The linguini pasta and Chicken Parm were both cooked well. The seafood dish with black pasta was a little rubbery and chewy. Full bar and decent wine list. They are able to accommodate parties of all sizes. Didn’t see many children in this restaurant. Definitely recommend reservations, but they are able to be made the same day in most instances.

If you like Italian food near Universal Parks this is a good place to, food is well seasoned, presentation is ok nothing fancy. Prices are reasonable better than others out there. You are served a baked in house bread to begin, real good if you are into carbs. lol. Service is good , friendly faces and attention is mid. All in all, not terrible ,food is passable after a long day at the parks. FYI, pasta is also freshly made. Make reservations!!

We had dinner at Vivo Italian Kitchen while at City Walk and had a great experience! It was busy but not overly crowded. Our server was friendly and helpful with the menu. The service was great, and our entrees were brought to us in a timely manner. I ordered the linguine and clams pasta. It was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Vivo Italian Kitchen, and I look forward to dining here again soon!

After coming here a few months ago and having an amazing experience, we were excited to return to Vivo on our recent trip to Florida. The first time, the food was hot, flavorful, and everything was perfect. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. We were given a small piece of room-temperature bread with nothing to dip it in, while other tables received better service. Our server was very inattentive, and we waited over 30 minutes for food that arrived only warm. The Caesar salad was overpriced and bland. The chicken ravioli was just okay not well seasoned and barely warm. The other pasta was very bland. The restaurant is beautiful inside, but the drop in food quality and service made this visit feel like a waste of money and left me questioning whether I’d return again.

A wonderful experience at CityWalk, our first time visiting. Plenty of dining options there, most had lines so we opted for VIVO, we were quoted a 20 minute wait but were seated in 5. Had been seated at the bar while waiting and didn’t even get to order a drink. Food was excellent and not as outrageous pricing as Disney restaurants. Pricey for sure, but not exorbitant especially when considering the quality. All the pasta is fresh made durum semolina, you can taste the difference. Partner got seafood with squid ink pasta, her favorite and a rare find. Minestrone had mushrooms and pesto which was a unique twist on a classic. Trottole with broccoli rabe and sausage was delicious, another hard to find pasta shape. Alcohol was pricey relative to the meals, so consider that when visiting. Big shout out to the staff though, particularly Giovanna and Brayde, wonderful people, made the night. Will be back again as there are numerous dishes worth trying on the menu.

It was a nice late-night visit to CityWalk after a day at Universal Studios. We ordered the meatballs, caprese, and a seafood pasta.
The complimentary bread was soft but cold, and it didn’t pair very well with the olive oil. The meatballs were a bit dry, though they were clearly freshly cooked and served. You can’t really go wrong with the caprese, but I did wish there was a bit more balsamic glaze to balance the arugula. The seafood pasta was generously loaded with seafood; however, the noodles seemed overcooked and broke apart easily when lifted.
Aside from those points, the atmosphere was enjoyable and the server was very nice, which made the overall experience pleasant

This place deserves a Michelin star. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited in the USA. I highly recommend visiting this place, even if you have to change your travel plans to do so. Note: make a reservation in advance, as getting a table can be difficult. But it’s totally worth it!

We have visited Vivos a handful of times and always enjoy our meals here. The staff are always very nice and the restaurant is relaxing and cozy. We usually stick to the same foods every time, but have tried several things in the menu. After a day at the parks it’s one of my favorite sit down meals. That being said I gave 4 stars only because it’s not completely authentic, but it’s close enough and taste good.

I went here for my birthday while on vacation. I stupidly did not realize how popular this place would be and did not make a reservation but being solo lucked out on being able to find a spot at the bar. If you’re going I’d certainly make a reservation!!!
Halle was my server / bartender and props to her because not only was she beyond kind, and made my birthday dinner super nice, but she definitely handled some characters super well!
Any Italian place that serves you oil with Bread knows what’s up, so that was a great start. I ended up getting the fettuccine Alfredo, which you’d think would be a super basic dish, but they make the pasta scratch and you can definitely tell it’s fresh!! The blueberry cheesecake was small but decent. Overall, probably one of my fav places in City Walk and I hope to go back someday and try a few more dishes! Thanks again Halle!
