What a great little restaurant. We walked in and waited to be seated. First impressions were it was a cute restaurant. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Being gluten free I immediately asked if they had gluten free items. YES, they do and it’s not just a salad. I ordered a gluten free buffalo chicken and it was amazing!! The bun didn’t fall apart and it was delicious. Best one yet I have had. They made the mimosa with tequila instead of champagne which was different and good. Overall the homemade fries and the rest of my families food was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

We were driving from Bar Harbor to Boston on vacation and the kids just happened to be ready for a rest when we pulled off the highway near Pittsfield. A beautiful, quaint town and this restaurant was an amazing find! The staff was so friendly and the kids playhouse was exactly what the little ones needed while we waited for the food.

Really nice place to stop for lunch and only a mile from I-95. Great for kids as they have big tables and a play area. The food is excellent and they make their own ice cream. When we were there we had limoncello and also basil. Both were excellent. Reasonable prices

The very definition of a hidden gem. The food was a knockout. The staff was sweet and accommodating—after hearing we had a little guy in our party with food allergies, the chef came out of the kitchen and offered to make anything he wanted. As far as atmosphere, sort of an average family restaurant, EXCEPT for the kids’ play house in the corner. Nothing says “Your kids are welcome here” like toys, books, and a tricycle weaving around the tables. After several hours of sitting in the car, having their own play corner really helped the kids relax and enjoy their lunch.

this was our first visit to Vittles. a few people told us about this place and it turned out even better than we expected. first I will start with I have been on a search for homemade corn beef hash and I found that today. it had a bit of a twist from a traditional hash but it was a good one!! the breakfast was wonderful and the staff and owners were great to deal with. we will be returning soon to try the dinner menu. I would like to add that this is a family run restaurant and serving quality food is definitely what this family strives for. I had to laugh at some of the negative reveiws for this restaurant. apparently people just don’t see quality when it’s served to them.

Vittles is an amazing little restaurant owned and operated by some amazing people. My wife and I have yet to have a bad experience. We’ve had both breakfast and lunch there and both times have experienced great food, in a comfy atmosphere, with great service.
