Vittles restaurant

We have been in business since 2011. Doing things the right way. Real food from scratch. I cook mostly every meal. My sister waitresses. My mom helps cook. My daughter helps cook and waitress. When it is busy there will probably be a wait-If this burdens you please go to the gas station across the street.

I dont usually review on the first impression but this place was phenomenal! Excellent service, outstanding food, flavored and cooked to perfection! Old style Maine turn of the century architectur with a down home feeling. Can’t rave enough about the breakfast quesidilla and home fries! Thank you!

Don’t be fooled by the tired exterior or old-school name of the restaurant. Instead, get inside and judge Vittles Restaurant in Pittsfield by what is truly important… the delicious meals placed on your table. Everything we had was great. I went with the Avocado Scramble and my friend had the Almond French Toast, both of which were excellent. Rick’s (homemade corned beef) Hash was very tasty as well. Our server was a bit chatty, but friendly and prompt. Very much recommended.

So impressed with the food, service, and family friendly atmosphere. Tammy, our waitress, was welcoming and friendly. She greeted us with a smile and warm welcome. The appetizers and main dishes were spot on! We typically eat in Portland ME and I would say that this dinner was easily one of my favorites! Well done! I would recommend Vittle’s to all of my family and friends. Go here if you’re in the area!

If you are hungry get yourself some vittles at Vittles, and use the word vittles in a sentence just because it’s fun to say. Seriously this restaurant has some great vittles, great service and a classic atmosphere. The vittles are along the lines of comfort food with soup, sandwiches, and beverages in a jar. My wife wasn’t super happy with the lack of refills but she drinks too much soda anyway. Overall the prices aren’t bad and the food is really good, my BLT was nicely toasted with a buttery flavor, plenty of bacon and fresh tomatoes and lettuce. Eat well my friends!

I got the sausage and gravy on biscuits, with scrambled eggs & home fries. The biscuits were homemade and had a great crunch to them, very good‼️ I also ordered their homemade hash, which also was very tasty‼️ Great breakfast! Next time I’m in town, I will definitely be coming here!
I sat at the counter, so I didn’t have to wait to be seated. She was a little short staffed, so it took a little longer for her to take my order, but it was no big deal.

Stopped here for some lunch. It’s not far from the highway so it’s easy to get to. There’s street parking as well as parking lot behind the restaurant. It’s a place that has the classic New England style/vibe. The waitress was super nice and attentive. Our food was really good and there’s plenty of choices to choose from. There’s also a nice area for kids to play Between the highway and the restaurant there’s several stores, a grocery store and gas stations.

What a gem this little restaurant is! Fresh homemade food that is made to order and delicious. Homemade Maine potato chips, freshly ground beef in house and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The chef came to our table to check on us and had a nice little chat at the end of our meal. Parking is convenient and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely go back to try the breakfast and their homemade corned beef hash.

Went back for breakfast. Had the steak and eggs. Prime Rib cooked perfectly. Home fries are deep fried and seasoned well. Rye toast superb.

I ate there years ago and I still dream about their homemade ranch dip. I’m not typically a ranch fan but their’s was outstanding. All others pale in comparison. The rest of the meal was pretty great too. We went back a few more times that year and we live 100+ miles away.

Stopped on a road trip. Great place for everyone including especially for kids with a very cute play space. Food is high quality and homemade. The potato chips are amazing – homemade and obviously made from an actual potato. Lemonade also homemade and not sickly sweet.
