Came here to celebrate my anniversary, soooo good! The staff was amazing I loved our waitress! Food was amazing as well, I literally had to come write a review as I started eating my leftover pasta because it’s just that good! They also have a speakeasy(reservation only) & do other events later in the week like burlesque and karaoke, I definitely will be back such an amazing spot!

This was my first order from this restaurant, and after such a huge disappointment, I will not be coming back.

I ordered a Margherita pizza for $18 and received something that was only a few millimeters thick and weighed around 200 grams. It honestly appeared to be made on a tortilla rather than proper pizza dough. The bottom had visible circular patterns and was peeling in round layers — something typical for a tortilla, not real pizza dough. Proper pizza crust does not separate in circular layers like that.

Garlic was added for no clear reason, even though that is not standard for a classic Margherita. Also, the slice of Havarti cheese I added myself at home was thicker than the actual pizza base, which says a lot about how thin it was.

The pizza was so thin and dry that I had to add extra ingredients just to make it edible.

This “pizza” does not reflect the quality or standards of an Italian restaurant. I have requested a full refund for my order.

I read your reply, and nowhere on your website is this mentioned. There is no indication that this is not real pizza. At the very least, customers should be clearly informed. Otherwise, why is it listed in the pizza section?

I also paid for the order directly at your store. Given the misleading presentation and my disappointment with the product, I am requesting a full refund.

The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was outstanding. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and the sauces were rich and full of flavor. The pizza had the perfect crispy crust and fresh toppings.
They even surprised us with a lovely gift for my daughter and a delicious cake to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Such a thoughtful touch that made the evening extra special.

Came here for our anniversary. The staff was working hard but always took care of us. Hostess had great history to offer on the building and restaurant. My partner is picky about Italian food in LA but happily pasta’d til her plate was clean. I got the branzino. Everything had an incredible freshness to it, from the fish to the pasta to the veggies. The pesto accompanying my fish was bright green and vibrant to all the senses. We ordered possibly some of the greatest calamari I’ve had in my life, with snappy responsive bites encased in a light batter. The honored our big night with a cannoli. We will be returning.

I’m a mail carrier in studio city and every time I did the business on tujunga. I told myself that I would take my girlfriend there to eat. So, we did yesterday celebrating our anniversary 2 years and 5 moths being together. We loved it. The food was perfectly and well done. Looking forward to going there again.

If I can give more than 5 stars I would! I had my wedding reception/dinner here last night. Everything from beginning to end was spectacular. The staff that booked our party to the servers and the bar tenders, Scott, were amazing! They were helpful, kind, and so curtious to our needs. In addition, the food and drinks were delicious! They gave us the private room in the speakeasy section and I was blown away when we entered. Thank you soooo much Vitello’s! You guys totally made the celebration of our union so special and memorable ✨️

Vitello’s is an absolute 10/10. My friends and I were looking for a place none of us had ever been to and we came upon Vitello’s. So happy that we did because our experience from beginning to end was a blast! Our server Lorenzo was fun! He didn’t just take our order, he was very engaging, had great recommendations and kept us laughing. The food was impeccable! We all ordered a separate dish so we could try each other’s food. Everything that came to the table was delicious. We had the Carbonara the lasagna and the mushroom pasta. I honestly couldn’t decide which one was the best. After finishing our entrees and wine we headed upstairs to the piano lounge. There we had coffee and dessert. Again everything was exquisite. The tiramisu and the cannoli were so good! I wish I’d gotten our waitresses name from upstairs but sadly I did not. She was also lots of fun. I can’t wait to return to Vitello’s. I highly recommend this place to everyone
