We were the only people in the place. It took like 7-10 minutes to get our drinks brought to us. The host was a nice girl but in slip on boots and sweats. After ordering I was told they don’t have the buffalo chicken salad anymore that it was not in the computer system so I ordered the cheese ravioli with Alfredo. The bruschetta appetizer wasn’t bag but it wasn’t the best either. When our food came out the cheese wouldn’t even stay on my husbands pizza. My ravioli came out lukewarm and was more like an Alfredo soup. When I told the server/host I didn’t like it she said I’m sorry I’ll let them know then went and told someone in the back. They didn’t do anything about it at first she brought the check and it was still on there. I informed her I had one ravioli and it was disgusting I wasn’t going to pay for that. She went to call the manager who was at another location and said they would take it off the bill. All in all not good. I used to love this place and it has seriously gone downhill and it’s sad to see. The open sign wasn’t even on so we weren’t sure if it was even open.

Haven’t been to Vita in a while, so decided to check it out. Ordered thin crust sausage, half onion pizza with extra sauce. Excellent. Delivered timely. Pizza was perfect. Also ordered the walnut garganzola salad. Also Excellent. Definitely my new favorite spot!

I’m only writing this review with an UPDATE for the CORRECT location because though I was told to email for assistance with my issue, no one has gotten back to me and it’s been over a month since my original email that was sent to BOTH locations. Rafael asked for my number after a few emails yet has not called. I emailed asking if someone could call multiple times, and no response. Attached are screenshots of our email exchange to BOTH locations, along with previous review. I don’t know who the owner is but can someone get back to me or acknowledge me? I hate repeating myself but I’ve been a customer for years. This is beyond disappointing. All I wanted was a pizza that was fully cooked. Thanks. – B

My husband and I have been loyal customers of Vita Bella for years, but I was very disappointed with my most recent order. The pizza we received was undercooked and the dough was still white when we received it. It was very cold too. I attached photos show how poorly it was prepared compared to the pizza we got back in March.
On Sunday, when I called about the issue, the front desk told me that their manager was unavailable. She said she texted him and said that he told her that there was nothing they could do about the undercooked pizza and to contact Uber Eats for a refund. Unfortunately, I never received one from Uber Eats, they said to just contact Vita Bella since they were the ones that prepared the undercooked food.
And so I did. On Monday I spoke with the assistant manager Debbie, she was very kind, understanding and compassionate, but the situation was not resolved and out of her grasp. She said when this happens typically make a new pizza to their customers. All I wanted was a new pizza and we were willing to send the undercooked pizza back. I don’t want a refund, I just want my food I’m used to. I told this to Debbie and the front desk worker. I understand they are not in control of these decisions. Debbie was also so kind and made us feel very welcome to stop back into Vita bella and she would be there. Please promote her.
It’s been since Sunday and no resolution. It’s very frustrating to experience this level of service after years of being a loyal customer. I truly hope Vita Bella can address this issue so that others don’t have the same disappointing experience. We love your food! I hate leaving this review but am unsure how else to address my point. Can someone please make this right? I would hate to issue a chargeback with my CC company. Mistakes happen, we don’t want a refund, just a new pizza. I don’t know why the manager won’t just acknowledge that we want a new pizza for the undercooked one we received.
I want to add that I sent an email and never received a reply.
The email was sent on August 27th to both locations.

Been a long time customer of Vita Bella’s in North Plainfield, which used to be my families favorite pizza place. However, these past few visits have been a terrible experience with the quality of their food. I don’t know if they changed ownership/management, down-grade on the quality of the ingredients, new cooks, but whatever changed was for the worse. Needless to say, very disappointed with them and will not be going back anytime soon. There’s plenty of other pizza options in the area with more consistency.
Below is a picture of my most recent pizza. As you can see it was undercooked and had raw pizza dough. When I called it in, they didn’t seem apologetic at all and seemed more annoyed than anything else. They didn’t offer anything (refund, new pizza, cookie, etc), instead I had to ask them to remake me a pizza and that second pizza was still not good.
Hopefully, Vita Bella can revert back to what it used to be. Until then, I will be going elsewhere.

To be honest, if I could give a 0 I would for my last visit. Our server was friendly however that’s the only good thing from our dinner. I’ve been coming here for almost 11 years and this was the experience if I had it my first visit I wouldn’t have gone back. We ordered a double dough pizza as well as deep dish. The deep dish was room temperature at best after “just coming out of the oven” before being served. The double dough was not cold but also not steaming like weve had in the past. We told the server to which she got the manager over. All he would offer was to remake the food or give us a comp on our next visit. We are moving anyway so we won’t be back and didnt bother to comp the food, no discount, and did nothing to rectify this. I’ve been in customer service and management to know this is not how a customer should be treated. Even if we are in the area we would not be back. If you like cold pizza right after being cooked this place might be for you.

Sad little place with no customers. Weird combination of fresh bread with oil and cheese but the butter comes in individual plastic cups, like it’s IHOP. Looks like a fancy restaurant inside but they took up a whole wall with slot machines. The pizza is definitely above average. I would come back to this odd restaurant.

1st time going because I needed something different as nothing else in Aurora or Naperville was meeting the need anymore. All I can say is… JACKPOT! All the ingredients were fantastic the sausage, pep, giardiniera, sauce and crust all hit the mark. It’s a 20 min drive but I’ll be taking that trip moving forward.

We ordered timed pizza delivery on line! Delivered on time. We are trying to replace Fat Ricky’s that closed in Plainfield. Pizza was good. Cheese and sauce were very good. Sausage was a little spicy for me but all considered it was a good pizza and we would order again!

Normally we love Vita Bella pizza. Last weekend, we drove out of our way specifically to come here and this visit was very disappointing. One thing We ordered (and were really excited about!) was the beefy bread and we literally got a piece of garlic bread with melted cheese on it and no Au Jus (like it was described). We also ordered a 14 inch pizza but the pizza we received was noticeably smaller than expected and clearly was not 14 inches. This experience was incredibly disappointing considering we made the trip just to come here. We’ve always had great experiences here and We’re hoping this was just an off night, but unfortunately we probably won’t be making another trip for Vita Bella.
