Delicious food from Va BBQ! Brisket and onion rings were definitely something to write home about! The Mac and cheese and pulled pork were also very good. We got the platter and enjoyed the Texas candy and other pickles they included on the tray. Staff were friendly and food came out quickly. The outside seating was great but inside could use a lil more cleaning a face lift. Floors were a bit sticky. Sauce wise I’d say I prefer the taste of Mission but they did have six to choose from.

This place is SERIOUS!!! The food is expertly made and you can really tell they know what they’re doing. I had the Italian Beef and potato salad—both excellent. I tasted my friend’s Baked beans and Mac n’ Cheese and they were also great. Good prices, too.

Freaking delicious! Pretty much a must-stop. Best Italian Beef I’ve had in a long time, and The Lonestar was scrumptious too. Almost everything is homemade, unique, and fresh!

Excellent food. I thought the servings would be smaller than they ended up, silly me. I ordered a side of fries with my brisket sandwich. The sandwich was excellent. Feies were good, but I couldn’t finish them because I filled up on sandwich.

When it comes to good bbq there are many factors related to both mastery of technique and artistic ability to make unique flavors as well. VA bbq co is the most technically perfect bbq I have ever had. Everything they do exemplifies perfection of technique and at their worst day they are better than most. They don’t rely on electric smokers which make it so even a whiskey laden napper can make good brisket. However the difference between good and exceptional (besides 7 letters) takes immense talent. To stand out in an industry laden with good bbq requires being simply fantastic. Every person I have referred has agreed. The bbq sauce is wonderful and made in house as all sauce should be, however their bbq absolutely requires no sauce. Come here and expect just a little boost of magic in a dark world.

It won’t knock your socks off. It’s just “ok”, but it’s definitely better than the chain fast food restaurant options around. The burgers are affordable, and aren’t super large, but they’re filling if you pair it with fries. The cheesesteak was really lacking in flavor (it’s definitely no NYC or Philly), so I wouldn’t recommend it, but the burgers are decent and I would stop by if I were in the area. I didn’t get it this time, but the tater tots are pretty good, especially with the sauce they pair it with. They give a large amount of fries in the “basket,” definitely enough to share with 2+ people. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but if you go, I’d recommend a cheeseburger and tater tots. It’s a fill-up that’s easy on the wallet.
Atmosphere is classic burger joint – grill, music, iconography, TV, the whole thing. It’s casual dining so you could definitely stay a while if you want to watch the game, or just hang out. There’s also outdoor seating as well.

Got a double burger, which both patties together didn’t really add up to one good burger the macaroni and cheese tasted like it came out of a can the potato salad way too much mustard and one thing for sure. I’m not a picky eater, but the food was nothing like the photo Won’t be going back.

Kind of pricey. Burger was underwhelming – bun was soggy, tomato was stringy and lettuce was wilted. Side of onion rings is $4 which is crazy for 5 onion rings. My husband’s lone star was good but had a lot of fat on it. Potato salad was bland – needed more mayo and salt.

Well that was disappointing. I’d heard great things and the pulled pork was tasty, but the pulled pork bbq sandwich was short one thing – the bbq. No sauce, just dry pork and a little bit of cole slaw on a bun. It was carryout. If there was self-serve sauce somewhere nobody mentioned it.
Service was fast and friendly, but the missing step of making sure patrons had what they needed could use some improvement.

Outdoor seating is the only plus here. Smal, very small portions. I can’t eat bread, so… for $26.00 not including the tip, I got a a miniscule amount of meat, that was dry with no sauce, no sauce offered, and an even smaller amount of coleslaw, with a decent size of French fries on the side. I will not be back, that’s more than I’d spend on a good burger, with fries and a drink included at a nearby location.
