This place has a good beer and wine selection, and the live music I’ve heard is always good. But other than that it’s terrible. Bathroom is gross, service is slow, bartenders are rude. We ordered food (sliders) and there were thick shards of plastic in 2 of them. When it happened to the first person at the table we obviously thought, well that’s not good. How crazy! But then when the second person had 2 pieces of plastic in their food as well we took it to the bar and showed the bartender. She didn’t seem to think anything of it, threw it in the trash and brought us more sliders. When she delivered them to the table she literally said let’s see what happens this time We were terrified to eat them, and ended up deciding not to eat them. The sliders were taken off of our tab, but nothing else was done to accommodate us or make us feel better about the situation. We consumed a decent amount of wine and beer at our table, very expensive night for not eating and feeling uncomfortable. We were made to feel like the problem bc we didn’t want to eat the second order of sliders that were brought out. I will never return to this establishment. I do not know how they continue to stay open. Don’t waste your time coming here!

You really can’t beat the wine & craft beer selection at Vintner’s. They will let you try a sample of the wines on the board near the bar. Usually you seat yourself & have to go to the bar to order, but they are very knowledgeable & helpful. It is a smaller establishment & they have some tables on the patio if the weather is nice. The flatbread pizza is always good & if you like hummus, I would recommend it! We had a very large group this weekend, so there were a few little mixed up with orders but they were very kind & made it right. Great place for date night, a quick glass or friends outing!

I have been going to VWM for over ten years. Just found out Rosie has left and it really shows in quality of service. I sat down at a relatively uncrowded bar and the bartender served four walk ups, closed two checks and did two refills while I sat there for 15 minutes with no acknowledgement at all. She only noticed me when I got up from the barstool to leave. Won’t be back, ever. Too many other good spots to spend my time and money. A real disappointment as VWM used to be a gem.

I liked the atmosphere of Vintner. It’s a great place to take a date or just relax with some close friends over a glass of wine. We really came here for dinner. The food here was ok but not spectacular, and the service slow. We ended up having to fetch our own plates and napkins to eat our food. The rub for the wings was a bit bland. The Margherita pizza was ok, but missing the fresh basil that would’ve made it much better.

Absolutely love Vintner Wine Market. They have an outstanding collection of bottles and a nice small plates menu. We got a Charcuterie board, wine, and crab dip. They were quite busy when we went, so we sat at the bar. The Charcuterie board was fantastic and one of the major reasons I will go back – you get to pick your own cheeses from a nice selection. A nice cheese menu is extremely hard to find in Charlotte, so go here if you want choices.
The place is much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. It is a little hidden in the Arboretum too so the first time going is a little strange.

Never been so impressed with employees that work at an establishment. Every time we come, the place is super busy yet somehow the bar staff is quick and knowledgeable, the food is excellent and the servers provide everything we need. We always have a great experience. Highly recommended!

I always love visiting and it has become a staple meetup for my friends. The beer selection is amazing so don’t let the name fool you! Also, you should REALLY try their flat bread pizzas as they are surprisingly good.
The menu is impressive and many folks don’t know they serve food! The staff is very knowledgeable and laid back…. serious cool folks.

Delicious wines and great service. Stacy was our server/bartender. She was friendly, fast, and attentive. Her service made the experience great. The atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting. I loved the hummus and spinach goat cheese flatbread too.
