Very quickly learned why there was no line at peak hours on a Saturday night. My girlfriend and I went in for maybe 5 minutes and the place was dead with some crappy dubstep dj. We asked security at the door for our money back ($10 per person) as we were leaving and they used some analogy that when you order food at a restaurant and eat it you dont get your money back. What a scam. My girl and i were looking for a nice night and security stole our money out of our hands. Anyone looking for a good vibe, avoid this place at all costs.

Food great. Atmosphere great. Only problem I had was bartenders were fixated on specific regulars…several times I went with an empty beer for 10 to 20 minutes with me trying to get their attention. It wasn’t a full bar either. They’d be on their phones or chatting with regulars extensively or something else distracted them. Finally just had to try to close out which with added distractions took even longer. Nice spot and generally good stuff just service wasn’t great.

Excellent new spot on Chippewa for the more sophisticated crowd. Had a quick plate and cocktails before a dinner res down the street. Very good atmosphere. Will be back.
