Grabbed a small pepperoni and basil pie for pick up on Friday night. Cool location and easy in and out pick up. The pizza was absolutely delicious! If you’re a pizza snob, this is a little hidden gem in Torrington. Everything from the dough to the crust to the cheese was amazing. Highly recommend stopping in!

I’ve dealt with Vinny’s for quite a few years now. Their food is usually GREAT. But last night I ordered veal medallions (delivered). They weren’t medallions – it was veal sliced like deli meat (medallions are supposed to be cut from a veal tenderloin). It was quite tough, and veal should NEVER be tough, thus veal rather than beef! I will continue to deal with Vinny’s, but I won’t order veal again. I WOULD recommend ANYTHING else on their menu!

Salad – was fresh & nice mix. Dressings were good.
Lasagna – quite flavorless & textureless. It used to be good.
Manicotte – also quite flavorless. Disappointing.
Sausage – no texture or flavor = bland, no good.
Delivery was as represented, 45 minutes.
Very disappointing overall.

Order dinner for four people. Only two got what they asked for. A whole grinder was never made. One small pizza was made with the single ingredient we specifically asked them not to include, because the diner was allergic. So two people didn’t get their meals.
This was a delivery. Talked to the owner about both items. He promised to refund both. Then didn’t do it. I followed up 3 days later. He finally agreed to refund the missing grinder, but only part of the cost of the pizza (even though he had already agreed to refund the entire pizza).
Still haven’t seen either refund. There’s not much point in doing business with a restaurant that can’t fulfill half the orders. Would they have been tasty? Who knows. They never appeared.

80+ dollars for two basic pasta dinners with garlic bread. The pasta was fine, but the sauce is jar sauce quality, lacks flavor completely. The meatballs also have very little flavor to them, the meatball and sauce pasta had almost no sauce in the dish. So the main dishes were very disappointing overall, the portion is good, and the normal bread they gave was good, but the garlic bread was cold and on a different type of bread from the plain slices they gave. For the price of the food it’s very disappointing and I personally won’t go back. One and done for me unfortunately.

Very underrated burger from an Italian place!!!! Fantastic restaurant and dining room! Staff very friendly and attentive to our needs. Also the decor in the dining room looks awesome. Gives you a great feeling and ambiance while dining. The portions were really amazing and worth the price. There is a reason this is one of Torrington’s best restaurants!!!

Fries and breaded chicken were good. Lasagna was bland and noodles overcooked. Chicken Cesar wrap does not come with any dressing, only chicken, lettuce, and tomatoes. Waitress didn’t check in after we got our food to see if we needed anything. I wasn’t able to ask for a side of ketchup for the fries.
