Poor service waiting 30 minutes with 4 people in front of me and that’s with a guy walking out! No utensils very dirty and can’t get anyone to help you! Manager was sassy when another customer asked her to help make food because one man making and cashing out is not ideal. Claims she was making food the whole time yet almost everything was out!

This Chipotle is the best. Rochester Hills location in plaza. All changes and ready to go. Hussein A is a great employee and will go fat in this business or any place he chooses in future.

I understand this is a busy location, and given that the line was to the door, I fully expected to wait. There were two women behind the counter, another employee handling DoorDash orders, and several staff members in the kitchen area.

When I reached the front of the line with two customers ahead of me, the two women working the counter suddenly left the area. A young man stepped in to assist, but he was left with empty food pans and no support. He was running back and forth to refill items while simultaneously taking orders.

He advised there would be a 1–2 minute wait for the chicken. The customers ahead of me and I were perfectly fine waiting. He efficiently filled the bowls with available items. A man came out from the back, chopped the chicken and put it in the pans and just left. He seen how busy the young man was up front and could see how long the line was, he could also see that we were all waiting to cash out and there was no one to service the register, but yet he just went back in the kitchen to chat it up. Yes chat it up, i watched him. Very unfortunate.

Throughout this time, the line grew to the door, and he remained the only employee assisting customers at the front. He worked incredibly hard and handled the situation with professionalism.

After our food was prepared, several of us waited an additional five minutes for someone to ring us out. Other staff members remained in the back, including the employee managing DoorDash orders, who repeatedly looked toward the waiting line but did not assist. When I finally asked the young man if someone was coming to cash us out, he explained he was not permitted to use the register.

At that point, I had been in the restaurant for approximately 45 minutes, with my food sitting and cooling. I politely asked him to find someone to assist, as I needed to return to my office. He went to the back, and the manager instructed him to cash us out himself—despite already handling orders, refilling pans, and managing the entire front of the restaurant alone.

This experience highlights several concerns:

Management should be retrained on proper staffing and front-of-house support during peak hours.

Employees should not leave a station without ensuring it is properly stocked and that relief coverage is in place.

Staff training should reinforce teamwork and accountability so customers are not left waiting with prepared food.

Unfortunately, by the time I returned to my office—less than five minutes away—my food was completely cold.

The young man working the front deserves significant recognition. He was efficient, professional, and clearly doing his best in an unsupported situation. He earns 10 stars.

Unfortunately, the actions of management and other staff members receive none. This situation was avoidable and reflects poorly on leadership and team coordination.

Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback. I hope it is used constructively to improve both staff support and customer experience moving forward.

When we walked in, all the tables were dirty. The garbage is full and overflowing. The service counter is messy, The Ingredients were falling into each other’s pan. The brown rice had hard pieces in it and not even warm. They were not organized and running out of ingredients at the counter. The meats did not taste freshly cooked; they were dry, hard and cold. The condiment and drink station was dirty and ran out of utensils. The guys working nice but messed up our order. They tried but it is obvious that there is a lack of leadership.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at your establishment. Despite having no less than nine staff members present, only one person was handling both food preparation and cashier duties while frequently disappearing between orders. After waiting over 25 minutes, I was still not at the front of the line. During this time, at least a dozen customers left in frustration.

When I raised my concerns with the team, the employee I spoke with was defensive and rude, claiming they were restocking—an explanation that was clearly inaccurate, as there was plenty of food visibly available in the bins. Adding to this unsatisfactory experience, when I finally reached the front and received my double chicken bowl, the food was cold.

This level of service is unacceptable, and I hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve future customer experiences.

I have never seen a more poorly managed restaurant in my life. This is probably the 5th time I’ve come in here and waited in a 30 minute 5 person line. There is always only one person making food and ringing customers up. They are always out of chicken or rice or queso no matter what time of day you come. I would have rather stayed at home and made my own dry, overcooked chicken looking back on it. Understaffed and poorly managed. Unfortunately, the employees are actually very polite and helpful so this whole complaint falls solely on the management.

Walked in and stood at the counter for about 3 minutes while a short Indian lady was sweeping. She saw me walk in, made eye contact with me twice, and completely ignored me. I finally asked if someone could help me, and she told me I could wait 5 minutes until she was done sweeping. I told her customers should come first, especially when you already made eye contact, and she said her job was to finish sweeping before serving customers. Very rude and unprofessional. She then gave me a dirty look, put my bowl in the bag aggressively, crumpled the bag, and shoved it on the table. Terrible customer service. Can definitely see why this location had 2 stars.

Chipotle itself is great fast-food dining experience. Issue is that if you happen to visit the restaurant towards 8:30 pm, they never seem to have vegetables. If they know they still have 60 min before closing even in less amount, isn’t this staff duty to prepare them. If there is left over, they put it inside freeze anyway! This sort of repeated behavior has prevented me from going into chipotle post 8 pm. Being vegetarian, if they are out of vegetables, what else is there left? Something the staff should think off!

At least half of the staff who worked the evening of 2/12/26 should be fired, especially the girl making the chips and the girl assembling the entrees. Ran out of almost everything at 7:00 and didn’t have the first replacements protein out for at least 45 minutes despite saying it would be a 10-30 minute wait depending on protein.

Ordered 5 Bowls via the app, last time was a disaster, this time 2 were good and the other 3 were really light, small portions even after I ordered with “extra” rice and cheese. The presentation was awful. Looks a like someone threw the food in a bowl with angst. Comes down to management expectations and poor consistency.
