Vinny’s has great food and great customer service. Ive never been disappointed in the food when I eat here. It generally stays really busy and crowded though so I usually do take out. If your in the are and want some good Italian food drop in, you will not be disappointed.

It’s a great family dining place. My family and I visited on Thanksgiving weekend for lunch. The food was exceptional, the pizzas were juicy, the pasta was flavorful, the appetizers were mouth watering. Last but not the least jovial waitress!

Our group ate here after attending the Virginia Dare Cruise. We were a party of 11. Our food was fresh and hot. The waiter was excellent. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Our first time at Vinny’s – went with friends who have been there many times.
We were seated right away at a table by the window. Vinny’s is not a fancy place but that’s not what is about; you go for the food and their entrees did not disappoint.
We each started with a side salad which consisted of iceberg lettuce, tomato, red onion and cucumber. The balsamic dressing was very good.
Bread comes right from the oven to the table. Our friends enjoyed it but I was a bit disappointed with the cake like texture. The crust was thin and light where I prefer a heavier crust.
The evening special was Shrimp Scampi which my friend ordered. It looked fabulous, the lemony sauce had tender looking butterflied shrimp and sun dried tomatoes. Her husband had Spaghetti and Meatballs; it was a good size portion, smothered in house made sauce with enough left to take some home. My Tortelloni Campagnola was a delicious concoction of cheese stuffed pasta in a creamy red pepper cream sauce with bite size sausage, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and artichokes. As he always does when visiting an Italian restaurant for the first time, my husband ordered Chicken Parmigiana. He said the sauce was tasty but the cheese could have been better quality. The chicken was pounded and done perfectly.
There is a small bar. We skipped the hard liquor – my husband had a beer and I had a glass of wine from their shall but varied list. You could also order a bottle.
Our server was friendly and attentive. The noise level was low to medium so it was easy to have good conversation. Prices were much better than we are used to.
I’m sure we will be visiting Vinny’s again in the near future to try it some of the other menu items.

This has been my first and only visit to Vinny’s. I came here excited and left feeling very disappointed. My service left so much to be desired as the waitress only came back a few times and then blatantly ignored me and my crew for 15 minutes, to the point where we had to go find somebody *else* to get our things ready and pay. It was ridiculous.
This food here honestly didn’t seem too quality focused. It tasted cheap to me, and tasted so similar to something I regularly get at Olive Garden that tastes better! All of my crew agreed that our food isn’t what we expected and left disappointed.
The saving grace is that this place is GORGEOUS. It has high roofing, decorated with all sorts of Italian design. The koi pond under the porch as you walk in is a very nice touch that I’ve never seen before.
All in all, yes, I will try this place again someday, but it is not happening any time soon. Maybe I went on a bad timeframe because I see how highly this place is rated, but don’t see why it is.

The food was delicious and you got your money’s worth. Big portions sizes. Recommend you try them out if you are in Moneta, Va. We enjoyed our food and the staff was so nice.

Really liked this casual restaurant with very good food and extremely friendly staff.. Alexis our server gave excellent recommendations for our party and for my gluten free dietary needs.. she was informative, so sweet and patient with us having many questions.. The Monti Mare was excellent and filling.
