This is a quaint Family Owned Authentic Mexican Bakery! Many choices to be made and they were very tasty choices also! The woman who waited on me was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable!
She also pointed out that they offered Home made Mexican Tamales, & Burrito ‘s. Unfortunately their is not a wheelchair accessible entrance. There is a small dining area off of the Bakery ‍ Area! I l k forward to returning s n to try the Mexican Food Special’s

Just moved from Detroit to Wyandotte and one of our cons to moving back was the lack of authentic Mexican food…UNTIL we realized the Vinewood Mexican Bakery also served Mexican food and has a sit down area. We had the Al pastor, chorizo and asada tacos, and a cheese quesadilla, the meat was marinated so well through it melted in our mouths and complimented the corn tortillas perfectly. The quesadilla was soft with an awesome cheese pull just like our favorite spots back in Detroit. We will be back again Tuesday for their taco Tuesday special. I’m a sucker for salsa, but their salsa is so good I’d throw it back like a shot.

Ordered the Street Torta with carne al pastor. She called it marinated pork. I’m from Texas, it’s pastor. Good flavor. May have to stop by and try the pan dulce.

I wish it were not true but I came to purchase some tortilla shells a few days ago. We opened one pack and found furry mold on it. I looked at the package and saw that the date was back to MARCH of 2021. I am blown away. Very very unacceptable. We also bought a piece of cake that was very underwhelming (tasted like box cake) and it may have been spoiled because a tummy ache came after. We unfortunately will not and can not come back. Please rid of all of those expired tortilla shells and STOP selling them. That is a law suit waiting to happen….

I love being able to get all my favorite cookies and breads. They gave out free hot chocolate and candy on Halloween. The family that owns it, are very very nice. Service is always friendly. They are a great part of the community!!

I have not been there in a year. They did add some things like food, i.e. dinners, tamales but can’t comment on the taste because I have not tried their food yet.
The Mexican pastries are good and a very nice selection.
They still carry a couple of Polish baked goods like bread and angel wings.
Worth a stop when in the area.

I love this bakery! Great Mexican sweet bread and other items during certain times of the year. I went recently to get some paczki for my coworkers on Fat Tuesday- they had pre-packed and on the trays, all made fresh in-house. Hidden gem deep in Wyandotte, Michigan. I ended up getting some Mexican sweet bread, as well, all traditional favorites. Recommended!

Thought I would give their food a second chance… it wasn’t any better. Went inside and ordered, they still got something wrong. Just had street tacos. They were very bland. The steak was chewy, fatty and grizzly. Everything was a bit greasy for my liking. Even the rice was bland. The food even needed salt… and I never salt anything! I’m giving it 2 stars because I know it’s a small, family owned business and the prices were reasonable, but around here it’s very easy to find good Mexican food. Save yourself the disappointment and hit up the taco truck on Southfield Road in Ecorse instead. We also got a chocolate cupcake and little pumpkin pie tart. Again, bland and edible, but nothing great.
