At first I was drawn to the eclectic mix of international wines, a welcoming bar, and later got to chat with the owner Jason who is awesome! He is quite a character and alas, the 1-star review was from those who cannot stomach his directness/honesty. But otherwise, if you read other reviews, the owner as well as the overall atmosphere here is very welcoming, fun, friendly for a great time! also, they have a very affordable yet decent wine club that you should definitely check out.

Wow, the owner Jason is so welcoming and nice! His knowledge of wine is quite impressive. I joined his wine club and will definitely be back to take advantage of his amazing selection of wine from around the world and local wines!

This place is a must for folks who love wine. Jason is knowledgeable and a delight to talk with. He knows the local wines, and also a lot of imports from all over the world. A few are obscure, and provide a fun adventure for a wine geek like me! He also has a wine club and offers some of his wines at the bar. Highly recommended!

First of all, this is a wine shop. If you are an up-tight wine snob then go elsewhere. However, if you know wine, and you’ve explored local California wines but are tired of fruit bombs, oak, butter, and exorbitant prices … then Jason will open your eyes to wines from all around the world that are affordable! Keep in mind he can sell you a glass or a bottle but cannot give you a free taste because of his license … so don’t friggin ask! However, he can keep you laughing until you have to run to the bathroom … just remember to pat the gnome on the nose!

The new retail space an updated inventory is fantastic. I’m looking forward to bringing friends from out of the area to try new wines and hear from the owner and his vast knowledge about all the choices available. What a wonderful Improvement to an already great wine environment. So I hit post

If you like/love wine and are in the Petaluma region, this shop is a must stop. Jason is knowledgeable about wine and the different products he holds in his shop. I was wandering through town, and stopped there by accident, I ended up stayin for a good 1.5 hours talking about wine, California, restaurant recommendations and anything in between. In a nutshell: just go!

Wonderful place to get a drink with a friend or date. Very quite and chill. Easy to read a book or watch the baseball game without all the normal bar noise or music. Haven’t tried the food but the beer and wine selection is great. David is also very friendly and knowledge. A must visit.

Jason knows wine, great selection of reds,. whitea, local and international. Beer and other beverages are available for the non wine drinkers. Plenty of seating. If you like big personalities, and want to know about Petaluma the man behind the counter with the belly is your man!

Solid little wine shop with a small wine bar component to it. Not a bad selection with a fair amount of local area wines. The food is simple small plate snacks, but they are fine. I greatly prefer La Dolce Vita, just South along Petaluma Ave in the Theatre Square, because of the atmosphere and wonderful food. but this is a good place. If you in the area and shopping around and want to get a feel for why Petaluma is good place this help you.
