Social Profile:

When Europe was in shambles during the aftermath of World War II, many immigrants came to America looking for a better life. They crossed the Atlantic, ending up on the east coast, and brought with them their amazing recipes that had been passed down for generations. This is why for many years the best Italian food (including pizza) was always on the east coast. And, no, it s not the water, but in the original recipes, they brought with them. In 1950 Vince Chianese opened his first restaurant in Pittsburgh, using the family s authentic Napoli dough recipe. Vincenzo s Original has one-of-a-kind pizza dough that is unique to Vincenzo s Restaurants.

Classic, no-frills pizza parlor specializing in jumbo pies, plus subs, salads & pastas.

Vincenzo’s Specialty Pizza. Best pizza with fresh quality ingredients. Service was good. It’s a little higher than your average pizza but definitely worth the price. Easy order menu. Clean and the wonderful smell of pizza as it comes out the oven is, mouth watering. The greatest pizza you’ll ever eat. Definitely going back to try more items on menu. You must try this place you won’t regret it.

Online ordering from my phone was so easy and quick. Their website is also very clear and easy to navigate. The takeout order was fast. The BBQ chicken wings is good, not too sweet. My only concern is their pepperoni topping, it’s very very salty for my taste, not good for people on a low-salt diet or with high blood pressure Overall though, I still like Vincenzo’s and maybe avoid the pepperoni next time.

Pizza is epic, probably the best in SCV. Wings are a solid 8/10. Salads and the cheese bread are really good. Not a fan of the jalapeño poppers or the mozzarella sticks, the breading tastes off and feels like it was frozen. That being said, I came for the pizza, not the fried food. They have a decent size sitting area and a couple of chairs outside as well.

As an Italian who genuinely reveres pizza, I wanted to like this place but the experience was disappointing.

The sauce was flat and rigid, the cheese tasted cheap, and the crust was overly doughy, closer to a Domino’s-style product than anything artisanal.
For the price being charged, this has little to do with pizza.

Adding to this, the tables and bathrooms showed a noticeable lack of cleanliness basic standards that should never be overlooked.

Combined with unrefined customer service, the result feels less like craftsmanship and more like amateurism wrapped in consumerist hype.
I was excited to try it, unfortunately, it did not deliver.

Vincenzo’s pizza is like any other pizza we’ve ever had. Somehow they managed to make it crisp and doughy. At the same time. The toppings are fresh and flavorful.

On a humorous note, we ordered an extra large pizza last week and before we placed the order, we were asked if we were sure we knew how big it was. We were and we proceeded with paying for the pizza. When my husband brought it home, it barely fit through our door. No, that is not an exaggeration. So if you’re looking for a super large pizza to feed a small army, consider the Vincenzo’s extra large.

Loved this place growing up! So stoked I can eat there again now that they do vegan pizzas too! Also, the vegan ones are as great as I remember the originals being! Thanks Vincenzo’s!

Haven’t been here in years so when I was back in town it was one of the first places I visited. The quality is still there, just getting pretty spendy. I paid $30 for a two topping pizza to go with tip. Nevertheless, it was delicious and I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Came here specifically for the vegan option. However, staff cannot seem to get the orders right. I was not the only person who’s vegan pizza was made incorrectly. I was given a vegetarian pizza (with dairy cheese on it). Not only am I vegan, but lactose intolerant. The cheese was suspiciously stringy (ngl, vegan cheese isn’t stringy) so I asked if it was vegan and was told my order was made with dairy…absolutely distraught as I had consumed some already, unknowingly.

They graciously offered to remake the pizza without cost, but it wasn’t even the same size as the original one I ordered!?

It was smaller. Make it make sense. Y’all messed up and I paid for a bigger VEGAN pizza.

Sad to say I will not be returning here, nor do I recommend it for any other vegans or severely lactose intolerant people.

My fiancé and I rode our Vespas to Cyclegear near by and we smelled the pizza and got a craving right away. You could smell the tomatoe sauce and basil all over the parking lot! We were not disappointed. This has to be the best Margherita napoletana I’ve had. We are picky, and we have tried other great pizzerias and Italian restaurants like Cosa Bona, Osteria La Buca, and Pizzeria da Michele and they couldn’t compare. It was delicious yet simple like real Italian food should be. I can tell that the people that work there are kind and care about the pizza they make. I like this place a lot, it isn’t pretenscious and no ego, just great honest pizza. We will be coming back again and I wish the business success. Grazie mille per la fantastica pizza!

Vicenzo you never disappoint me! No doubt this is the best pizza in SCV, and just look at that salad! So full! Fresh ingredients, great taste and I love that Vicenzo’s is always making sure to give customers a great experience. Other places will only give you a salad with a lot of lettuce and less meat/vegetables and definitely not a pizza full like this.
I really recommend Vicenzo’s. If you haven’t tried it yet, please do!
