The burrata was excellent and our waitress was great but service was extremely slow.
Unfortunately the rest of our meal was not good at all. The steak was so over cooked it tasted like beef jerky and for a steakhouse I would Have expected it to be amazing. The Caesar salad tasted like soap and we were not able to eat it. We ordered the Brussels sprouts which were good as well as the twice baked potato.
All in all for a $300 meal we were extremely disappointed and would not be going back.
It’s a very nice looking restaurant and maybe they were just having an off night but this is the first time my husband and I have ever went to this expensive of a restaurant so we were really let down.

Most excellent dining experience! We are in love with this place! Elijah Vogel was our waiter and was just perfect. He made it such a great dining experience and we are so looking forward to coming back and will tell our family and friends about how great an experience we had here!

The entire experience was top notch. We rarely go out as we have 4 children so it was a special experience. Kim was fantastic and very attentive.

I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. I am providing what they state is their certification of authenticity for a reportedly wagyu steak. Though delicious, I do wonder about the authenticity given the lack of details on the certificate.

Steak was cooked properly (10oz filet), but didn’t knock my socks off. The demi-glace was more like a red wine gravy than a demi, and the mushrooms were whole, which I found an odd presentation as a steak accompaniment. The lobster bisque was decent at best, they tried too hard to make it fancier than it is. This is Appleton, not a Michelin starred restaurant. There’s no need for a bowl containing only a pile of raw mirepoix with a spot of creme fraiche on it, and then pouring the bisque over it at the table like it’s some kind of experience. You’re building it up to be something it’s just not, and you’re unnecessarily creating extra dishes for the back of the house to have to deal with. Honestly, it probably would have been better if it was just brought out in the bowl the way a normal place serves it. You wouldn’t be setting the bar quite so high that way.

The hollandaise was OK, but far too lemon-forward; it would benefit significantly from a dash of cayenne, or at least Tabasco or even white pepper. Waiter provided excellent service but the bartender was exceptionally slow when we were at the bar prior to being seated.

Twice baked potato was good, the mashed were good, baked was good, and the asparagus was good.

Prices were on the high side of fair. If I come back, I’d skip all the accompaniments and bisque, and just get a steak and potato.

My wife and I dined there back in September. We drove from NJ to Appleton, then on to Green Bay for the home opener. Enjoyed the dining experience beyond words. Food and service were excellent, and the atmosphere was incredible. As a second cousin to Vince Lombardi, I was overwhelmed with all of the photos, some of which displayed other relatives of mine, now long deceased. I noticed when there that there no photos of Vince with my Aunt, named Dorothy. They were very close. She was his prom date, and was there by his bedside when he passed.
Upon returning home I had a photo made up of one I have on my wall at home with Vince posing with my aunt and two uncles, along with Paul Hornung. I mailed it certified to the restaurant days after our return. I have never heard back despite following up with an email. I did this for both my aunt as well as my uncles, and Vince. I felt it would be an honor to have their photo hung on those amazing walls. It would be nice to know if that ever happened. Ps – Vince was my grandfather’s younger sister’s mother, and my grandfather introduced her to his friend, Harry Lombardi.

Lombardi’s Steakhouse, nestled within the Hilton Paper Valley Hotel, is a true culinary gem! From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a delightful dining experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the exceptional wait staff, who were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. They guided me through the menu with enthusiasm and made fantastic recommendations. The steaks were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return! Highly recommended!

We were excited to stop in and check it out for the first time with a few cocktails. Very slow service to get 2 cocktails made at the bar on a very slow night, and their espresso martini is not a true espresso martini as the menu states Titos, Kahlua and Espresso – it is instead a premade Italian espresso liquor that they shake with ice… and its awful. My fiance ordered a Lombardi’s old fashioned… The menu states Angel’s Envy bourbon, and the bartender used Bulleit to make it. Both drinks were not as the menu stated and the bartender seemed confused. Was expecting better service and drinks for $15+ cocktails.
