The food was abhorrent. The chicken & lemon confit salad was so badly done with hard pieces of chicken and weird tasting dressing. The olives were ok because the kitchen likely had nothing to do but serve them in a dish.
I would come back for wine but skip the food.
I ordered the SOUPEÀ L’OIGNON (I’ve never had French onion soup before and ALWAYS have wanted to try it) it was ABSOLUTELY amazing!
In addition, I also tried Tarte Flambee De Potrion, it was tasty but wasn’t what I expected at all. I wouldn’t order it again. My friend ordered the Escargot, I wouldn’t have a clue if those were delicious or not. Not really into eating snails BUT to each his own. Lol
The glass of wine I decided on was the Alsace Kuentz-Bas Riesling Cuvee Tradition. I’m a Riesling type of girl, I’ve also noticed these days that finding Riesling is a rarity but maybe not at a wine bar so that brought me joy.
I would definitely return mostly because of the classy atmosphere it was really cute. 7.5/10
It’s a real French wine bar with a big variety of French wines it is clear they know their business. You could find mostly bottles but also some glasses.
A good selection of food to accompany the wine like cheese, charcuterie, salads and sea food. Good music and very good vibes.
Escargot! Delicious. Ratatouille! Yum! Cheese order seemed a little overpriced but it’s New York.
